Very pleasant 59 degrees this morning at camp. players catch break this week. Temps not supposed to rise above 70s.

Stands nearly full. Might be a few seats open on south end of Nitschke Field. Estimated attendance: close to 2000.

RB DuJuan Harris on his morning commute to work.

Second day of full pads. Time to strap it on . Hit or be hit.

Still out: WR Cunningham, WR Dorsey, WR Johnson, RB Harris, CB Hayward, S Richardson, T Tretter, T Sherrod, DL Neal, DL Worthy

Davon House not wearing harness. Just a sleeve in left arm. Repped with second team kickoff coverage

For those wondering, Eddie Lacy doesn't look fat. He's built to push the pile and take some punishment.

Lacy does look bigger but one thing to note is he's wearing a lower back pad. It does make him look bulkier.

WR Randall Cobb at practice today.

All the Vines:

And here's Eddie Lacy in action.

DBs on the JUGS machine at practice.

Rodgers misses he net.. Next one, when I'm not filming, goes in.

Start of Practice:

Again, Green Bay's defense working on the option first off in practice with San Francisco, Washington right away.

Datone Jones is now getting snaps on the punt team. Packers making sure they get their money's worth.

RBs working on pass pro against OLBs. That's an area of emphasis for the young RBs

Micah Hyde absolutely blankets Tyrone Walker on a post corner.

Fourth rounder David Bakhtiari continues to stand out. Just handled Datone Jones in this drill. Campen elated.

THE RED ZONE:

starting team run red zone period now.

Lacy bowling balls into end zone to fans delight. Broke out the circle button on his carry in red zone run

Eddie Lacy is dominating this red zone team drill. Spin moves and power both on full display.

Defense isn't tackling but Eddie Lacy looked great through his carries this red-zone segment. Surprisingly quick, strong.

A drop by Boykin on Rodgers bullet. Good way to see less passes coming your way from the QB.

Big hit by Terrell Manning on Starks on a draw. Initiated the contact.

The Packers need to shut down Starks now because if he can be healthy for the regular season he's going to do some damage.

Rodgers on fire. Buys time and finds James Jones for TD in 7 on 7, then lofts TD to Finley on next play.

Mulumba with a nice speed more for W against Bakhtiari in 1-on-1s. Quality win because Bakhtiari has been really good.

Raji with a sweet spin move on Lane Taylor.

Jolly follows up with a spin move to beat Van Roten.

Second year DT Mike Daniels continues to look good in the one on one pass rush drill. Looks like he's gotten stronger.

Datone Jones also with an impressive turn, running over starting guard TJ Lang.

Talked with Barclay about center last wk. said he started snapping balls week into OTAs, which happens to be a week after Tretter went down

Datone Jones apparently can do it all. He covers Starks over middle and bats down pass.

Red zone period, No. 1 offense not sharp, Rodgers n Jones miss on hot read at goal line, Rodgers n Finley can't connect on short fade

Thanks for the update.  Lots of good information.

Sounds like the defense ruled the day for the most part.  Good to see the younger guys stepping up.  McMillian, Shields, Jones, Hyde, all had good days.

Offensively, we may be looking at Bakhtiari at RT.  Sounds like Newhouse had a tough time today.  Also, Starks doesn't sound like he is going to go quietly into the night.  That is a good but IMO a unanticiapted problem to have.
