So this afternoon I received a playoff invoice from the ticket office for $1,019 (due Sep. 5th).  Obviously I was shocked because I wasn't expecting a playoff invoice until, at the earliest, late-November.

Apparently this year they are offering an Early Entry Pay as we Play option that gives a discounted price for the Wild Card game (assuming we get it).

Interesting approach to Playoff Tickets, and something I didn't expect at all.  You have to reserve them by Sep. 5, but are not charged until a game is clinched.

Yep, no money due when registering.  Will simply be billed for the first game that's clinched at the time it is clinched.

I would suspect this offer will mean that playoff tickets for non-season ticket holders will be hard to come by this year.

Non season ticket holders can't get their tics until the season ticket holders have them to sell. It's not like non ticket holders get their tics directly from the Packers. Green package folks will still dump thousands of tickets onto the secondary market. It's such easy money for them. There are very few Gold package folks who will sell their playoff tics if they're lucky enough to get them. It's the Green pkg. folks who flood Stub Hub, ebay etc. with tickets.

So for 2016 they've increased my per seat price to $95, up $15 from last season.  This would seem like a big increase, except they also lowered the preseason game ticket prices from $80 to $45.

No word yet on early entry for Playoffs tickets though.
