Tough 2nd half coming. MM will quit on the running game and the Seahawks pass rush will get humming. Plus, Capers.
MM is a dumbass for calling timeouts. Especially when we get the ball to start the 2nd half. That tactic never works for us. Fn' Hags don't do crap the entire game and then we let them take the lead right before the half. Just stupid.

Where I have a problem with this is Mike assuming we are going to drive 40-60 plus yards at least in about 35 seconds against this defense. Should've just gone straight up.
Seahawks had something like 25 yards in offense and 1 1st down before those TOs were used. Seemed like a reasonable thing to do in light of that.
D did just about everything you can expect from them for most of the 1st half except force any turnovers. Pretty happy with their effort so far. O needs to get some things figured out.

We've seen this movie before. Early in the season the offense struggles a bit with timing and lack of reps as a group in preseason because no one wants to get hurt. That's why I hate the ****ing preseason.
As good as A Rod is he still needs to get reps. Plus Seattle is no slouch.
Good news is the D played decent except for the patented Dom prevent before the half but 3 points isn't the end of the world.
The only real utility the timeouts had was forcing them to run on first down. Because if they passed on first down and stopped the clock, then they're in a situation where we can stop the clock. So there's no actual reason to use the timeouts unless Seattle makes a mistake with their strategy.
D-fense is not the problem in this game - so far so good for the d.
The up tempo part is what intrigues me here. Packers spent a huge portion of the first half rolling their personnel. Lots of subbing, lots of packages. Obviously, that takes away the ability to go no huddle. I wonder if McCarthy will scale back the number of personnel groupings in favor of going with a faster tempo.

Then when someone gets smoked in the preseason everyone freaks, including me. I'll take a healthy team and behind all of 3 points in the first half of the first game vs. limping into the regular season.
I'm ****ing excited to actually see a defense that is fairly well stocked and not shackled. 3 points.
