I expected Trubisky to look like a joke after hearing things like how he was having trouble even figuring out how to take a center snap and break a huddle.   Didn't see any of that at all, he looks like he has a strong arm and can throw accurately on the move.  Very impressive, it will be interesting to see how he does against a higher level of competition than 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Bears fans probably exit this game feeling like maybe that trade up for Trubisky might not be as much a disaster as it looked like on draft day.

@RichEisen:  The Mitchell Trubisky Parade set for Michigan Ave tomorrow at 11AM.

I'll just say this much.

Even IF Trubisky turns into the second coming of Rodgers, Favre, Elway.....that trade up was not worth it. Why?? Because they never had to do it & they would've still been able to select him at #3.

Bears Are friggin STOOOOOPID!!

No it wasn't. Wolf didn't give up anywhere NEAR what the Bears gave up for Trubisky.

Plus, Wolf & Herrock were friends & he "gifted" him the 1st rounder when he initially offered Ken a 2nd rounder for Favre.

You're 100% wrong about that

Maybe in the NFL circles, but the public perception was the Packers overpaid for the often drunk guy buried on the depth chart.

The Bears may have gotten fleeced (were they bidding against themselves or was there really another suitor?), but if it gets them a qb for a decade to compete for the division it was worth every penny.
