It's a shame the Cards season went into the crapper.

They started out so well, just to crumble because of injury at QB.

They'll still get a taste of being in the playoffs, but it's hard to imagine them beating anybody, including the NFCS winner.

It's a different GB team than it was in week 1. We are more physical at ILB with Barrington and the entire DL from Peppers, to Guion, Boyd, Daniels, D. Jones, etc. all look more comfortable and more physical. Not saying they would do well against Lynch, but I think they would do better than they did week 1. Seattle has no Percy Harvin, who killed us in week 1. GB's D as a unit is looking more cohesive and are playing as a unit. That wasn't true in week 1.

GB's offense will definitely struggle in Seattle. Seattle plays with a lot of confidence and I think sometimes that kind of confidence can rattle and frustrate GB's O. As long as McCarthy can keep their D off balance with Lacy/Starks then I think they can move the ball.

I think the NFC South team beats the Cards. Handily.

You really think so? I think that Cardinal D will destroy either the Falcons or Panthers.

Both the Falcons and Panthers would tear this garbage team apart in their home stadiums. I think the Falcons will be the winner next week, and Matty Melt will get postseason win #2 against a pathetic opponent.

Every football result hasn't meant a damn thing this year. If we're all being honest.

If you don't have a QB in the playoffs, you've got nothing.

Not on the road. I could see Arizona forcing Newton into a turnoverfest if they hit him enough. They'd need Stanton back to have any shot at a win. Their chances of winning a game are right at 0% with Lindley.

The point was no team wants to go to Seattle in the postseason. Not really sure what yours was.

On the flip side, I think potential NFC playoff teams were pretty happy to see GB lose to Buffalo, because none of them would have wanted to come to Lambeau, either.

That's true Fondu, but other than Julio Jones and Roddy White the Falcons have nothing. The Cardinals could easily shut those two down. The Panthers have...?? Jonathan Stewart and Greg Olsen I guess. Lindley has had a poor game, but he's been able to move the ball at times. Arians has kept it simple and if it weren't for the exceptional athleticism of the Seattle D and the fact that the game got out of hand quickly in the 2nd half I doubt they take as many chances on O. Lindley could guide them past any NFC South challenger.

He's the star in NY. It's when he stops being the star on the team that he quits. He looks great early on and the team lets him get away with whatever, but when other stars emerge or he stops producing then he runs out of excuses.

I don't like to rag on fellow posters, but the fear of Seattle in this thread is pathetic beyond belief.

Jesus Christ, pay attention. Seattle is the first team we want to face.

We owe them a bitchslap, it is clear and obvious, and if we play them, that is exactly what will happen.

Pay attention to the NFL.

What the **** does your opinion have to do with paying attention to the NFL?  STFU and back it up with something.

The Packers can beat Seattle but they need to get the ****ing fail out of their system from the past few games or it won't happen against a team that is peaking.

First step is getting that first round bye and one game at Lambeau. I hate the matchup with the Hags because they prey upon every weakness we have seen this season:

1. If refs let the hags play pass defense like Buffalo, not good. I suspect they will in the Great Northwest.

2. Beast mode can gash. Not good.

3. Pistol with Wilson, we know how that goes.

However, C-Boy says let's worry about that when C-Boy has to. Kitties first...

Before you crown them in the same vein as the 70's Steelers or 80's Niners, they've played vs.These QBs....

Drew Stanton
Colin Kaepernick
Mark Sanchez
Colin Kaepernick
Ryan Lindley.

Alex Smith and the Chiefs put up 24 on them. The cowboys put up 30 & the Rams dropped 28 on them. They're not some invincible, impossible to beat team/dynasty.

Yes they're good. They're a very good football team but they're beatable.

The best game I've seen this year was on Nov. 30th. If either the Packers or the Patriots play like that vs. Seattle, then Seattle will lose & probably by 2 TD's. I don't care where the game is played.

Real football has begun.

Seattle defense is definitely back to championship form. For whatever reason the Packers are struggling to put points on the board away from Lambeau and my optimism would be pretty limited if the Packers have to go there.

Gonna live or die by the improvements from the run defense, because if GB wins next week, they're likely looking at facing Dallas in the Divisional round and then Seattle in the NFCCG if they advance. Going up against Demarco Murray and then potentially going up against Lynch again, who had his way vs the Packers defense in Week 1

I am going to worry about Seattle if and when GB has another chance to play them.  Right now, they need to be concerned about beating Detroit and I am sure that's what the players and coaches are thinking.

I think the Loins are going to be a tough out and if Rodgers isn't 100% that's no gimme.  RTFB and pass block and I like their chances.

Truth. SEA can be had, on their turf.

Atlanta beat Arizona earlier this year.  Atlanta has been playing well of late.  They will beat Carolina and will beat the Cardinals.

I don't know I was drunk on whiskey.  I think it had to do with beating teams twice in a season.  And all overconfident in my predictions because I won all my bets yesterday, and last week, and am up on the season.  So but yeah that is kind of a head scratcher.

Whatever, all this hand-wringing over a team we should want revenge on is embarrassing.  McCarthy isn't going to let this team lose to those guys again.  Or Rodgers or Mathews or Daniels or Peppars for that matter.

Exactly.....incredible how much one dropped pass & a punt return could end up meaning.
