Corey Davis is the Ron Dayne of receiving, and went to our local high school. Should be a pretty good game. Good exposure for more Texas recruiting...

No offense, but yawn. I must confess I am jaded. Final 4 or Rose Bowl for me. I'll be watching and be hoping for a win but what's the upside...Mighty Bucky beats WMU?
Always glad to see Bucky in a Bowl. Cotton is a new one.
Hope they can knock a pass down in this one.
Nice to have a different bowl though like all I would have preferred the other options. I'll be watching!
Hornibrook should be healthy by Jan. 2. That will make a huge difference in down the field plays. Any New Years Day (Jan. 2 this year) Bowl is a very good accomplishment. Giving W.Meeechigan their 1st loss this season will be sweet.
Well for me back last year when I first saw the schedule I was trying to figure out how this team would get to six wins much less play in a New Years bowl game. Sure as a Big Ten team you always want the Rose Bowl but the Cotton Bowl isn't too shabby and at least it isn't the Outback or Champs bowl (or whatever it is called) they always seem to land in.
What I find interesting is that the two coaches are almost carbon copies of each other, personality-wise.
And the other positive about playing Western Michigan, I'm sure we'll get our share of Greg Jennings camera shots on the sidelines or in the suite that he is sitting. I personally never had a problem with the guy, but I know many Packers fans feel he's kind of a traitor for not leaving on a pleasant note and ending up with the Queens. I'd be surprised if he doesn't show up for the biggest football game his alma mater has had maybe ever....
Awesome, glad I took that day off work.
