Go to church because the end of days is near. Think about it the Indians vs. the Cubs? One of these teams has to win so the end of humanity is near...
Not having scored a WS run in Chicago in 71 years the Cubs figure why start now?
By the way. Is anyone watching the simmer going on between John Fox and Jay Cutler? That's going to get fun.
Ian Rapoport@rapsheet
Meanwhile #Bears coach Joh Fox tells reporters that Jay Cutler has been cleared from his thumb injury. Heâs back now that Brian Hoyer is out.
Zach Zaidman@zachzaidman
Reporter to Cutler: Do you feel like you still have [Fox's] support?
Cutler: "He doesn't have a choice, I guess, at this point."
You dig in Jay. You dig in!!!!! Don't you leave! Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prolly both him and Fox will be gone after this year...
When Cutler eventually leaves the Bears , it will never be quite the same again. Its just so funny to watch him play.
It would be seriously amazing for him to lead the bares to victory over the queens sunday.
I would be pleased.
That would be classic bears.
Rube shat would explode!!
In this situation its easy to prefer the Bears to win. C'mon Jay lets get it done ! Piss of those purple f*ckers. It will be fun to root for Cutler to play well.
Monday.
The 1-0 finish last night was precious to watch. The screaming fans wearing their hats inside out only to be crushed. The faces surpassed the reactions to a VaJayJay pick 6. Well dun Indians.
Francona is a really, really good manager.
I forget all the details of his departure from Boston but something tells me the Saux should have tried harder to keep him.
that last batter who struck out (on that nasty high hard one) needs to spend less time "manscaping" and maybe more time in the batting cage. Did you see his eyebrows? They looked like my wife's....in fact, it was my wife who caught them on the replay of his swing when they went in tight....man, HD-TV is great!
I thought Francona had a few too many beers there at the end of his Sox tenure.??

Javiar Baez, 23 years old. He's slashing .315/.431/.746 in the postseason. He was the NLCS MVP.
And you can't get his succulent eyebrows out of your head. "High hard one." "Went in tight." "time in a cage." Next time try some subtlety Casanova, we can see right through you.
Eyebrows. I got nothing to add.
Whats crazy is Baez (tore SF and LA to shreds) and Lindor were born in PR, played together as kids, both moved to America to get better medical care for sisters that needed it, played against each other in HS (with scouts everywhere), taken next to each other in the 2011 draft, and now playing against the other in the WS.
Pete Rose - good lord is he drunk?
I swear Pete was hammered last night after the game. He was a mess.
Big gambling and big drinking do tend to go hand in hand.
Hell of a baseball player, but Pete is a doofus.
Pete is the best....I'm waiting to hear him say....
"I wanna kith you....I wanna KITH YOU!!"
Pete Rose needs to be in the hall of fame!
Why are you so angry all the time EKB? I was just trying to have some fun. Holy Cow. You have issues, man. I've noticed that you do this in other threads, too, where you think you have to be an a** all the time. Relax.
How can you tell I'm angry?
Is it my eyebrows that give me away?
They are amazing. So emotive.
I guess.
See, now there's a guy who's going places.
Can we vote him into the White House?
GBFanForLife posted:Pete Rose needs to be in the hall of fame!
No
Rose will go in before McGwire and Clemons.

Blood coming out of your, your whatever.

Yeah, that level of stupid belongs nowhere else.
and can I say I even dispise joe buck more when he's announcing baseball.....
I don't know what is more distracting, constantly begging for the Cubs to bunt or those eyebrows
Game 7 is at hand and not a word yet? This will be high drama with plenty of hand wringing and teeth gnashing.
The obvious question is, why was Chapman in that game either so early, so long or at all with a 5 and then a 7 run lead? I guess that if anyone knows what he is doing, it is Joe.
Thank god the season is finally going to end tonight?
Go Cubs!!! Sorry guys...I grew up in Illinois.....fortunately, I inherited my Dads love of the Packers....but also inherited my Grandpas love of the Cubs....
Know there's not a lot of love for Joe Buck here, but I love the level of detail he brings to the broadcast. Easy to see what his first love is, hair plugs be damned.
YA, I can actually tolerate Buck on MLB broadcasts and I wish he would stick to baseball since I don't watch much of it during the year.
Fedya, the baseball season does end tonight but I am afraid the world will as well. God is going to look down in the 9th inning of a tied game between the Cubs and Indians and end the world right then and there.
All kidding aside who among us would have ever thought one of these two teams would actual win the World Series ?
