I thought pounding was what Batman did to Robin.
Keep your fan fiction to yourself
RIP, Batman. I loved watching that show. I was just 8 in 1966 and loved the characters. I had the album to the show, too. The only thing I hated was having to wait until the next day for the conclusion. ABC sure knew how to keep kids tense.
As I got older, I realized that Adam West was 37 years old when he got the role. He wasn't really buff either, but knew how to play the part.
I was 6 when it ran.
We'd call our Mom into the room to read the "Bam!"...."Pow!".......during fights......yeah, we were in Milwaukee Public Schools.
BK was 15 when mom gave up reading subtitles to him.
I was in 7th grade at that point, so Mom cut the cord.
Depending on when in '66, I was either 6 or 7.
I had a brother nearly 1 1/2 years older than me.
We used to fistfight every week over watching "Batman" (me) or "Lost In Space" (him). Thanks goodness the schedule changed next season.
