Didn't think the officials had a good day. Lots of head scratchers. Thought they let Georgetown play a little more than they let UW.

But that's why the win was so important. The Bench won the game. Dukan with 2 monster 3s, Koenig really saved them, and the D really ratcheted up the intensity down the stretch. I think it takes a pretty special player to get all the preseason accolades that Kaminsky has, and not push to "get yours" when the Hoyas were basically daring the rest of the team to beat them. He could have shot the ball 20-25 times, forcing the issue, but he wouldn't. And it was great to see Dekker finally attacking. That</> guy is a valuable asset. The passive one hurts his team.

Now let's finish this thing and go home...

Kaminsky really asserted himself in that second half. Again, a very uneven performance by the officials. They were letting Oklahoma play physical and the Badgers were getting whistled for touch fouls. The fouls on 3 pointers are troublesome- they were baiting the officials and they were falling for it.

If Dukan can play under more control,  he's a real asset. This is what a well coached and veteran team plays like- they have many ways to beat you. I though Jackson played much better this game. He really does a great job getting into the paint. Just have to stay under control.

Great validation by this team this week. They're for real, and they handled the challenge that a couple pretty solid teams presented.
