One of my favorite players from my earliest days as a Packers fan. Will forever remember that incredible game he had against the Vikings in that late '72 game at Minnesota that clinched the division title. The highlight of the entire '70s for the Packers. Clarence was an essential part of making that '72 defense #1 in the NFC that year, #2 in the NFL behind only the Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins. He was a great Packer, and will never be forgotten. 70 is just too young. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him well. RIP Big Cat.

By the way, I may be biased, but still think this is the single greatest Packers season highlight film ever made. Partly because of John Facenda. But the script, the way the story is told, is just incredible.  Check out Clarence Williams at his best and this great Packers defense and running game:
