Damn.
Gotta admit I think the combo of Pedersen and Reich could do some good things with a kid like that.

I agree. I thought sitting him was the best practice, especially with his smaller school background, but they've seemingly been pretty careful with what they've been asking of him and he's made throws when he's had to.
He's been playing great. Didn't impress me vs. the Bears but REALLY impressed me vs. the Steelers.
Buyers remorse for the Rams, taking Goff instead of Wentz?
Buyers remorse for the Browns.
Guess that whole, "let franchise QB fall into your lap" isn't as easy as some make it out to be...
Buddy of mine in PA has had season tix forever. After the Bare win he said the fans weren't going overboard on Carson. Then he beat Pitt. now it's all Carson all the time.
They're calling themselves Wentzylvania.
Hope he and all these youngQb's stay healthy and keep improving....the league needs more teams with legit hopes.
Having an ex-QB as a coach seems to be working.
Could he be the Andrew Luck that Andrew Luck hasn't yet become?
....and man, Prescott looks polished as Hell too.
I do agree that Pederson seems to have "it" as a coach. Had a feeling about him - only way a player with his complete lack of physical traits makes it as long as he did is if he is damn smart and extremely likable. Also rose up through the coaching ranks pretty quick (and the right way).
That said, much like Trevor Simian in Denver and Dak Prescott in Dallas, we need to pump the brakes on these young QBs. Every young QB has tendencies and eventually every DC will know those tendencies better than the QB does and will attack them relentlessly. Takes about 8-10 games to get enough tape. That's when you can tell if a rookie is special, if they can fight through that and improve once the tape is out there.
Good point.
Winston is a victim of having some games on tape as a case in pint.
