Six safeties and only 3 ILB's on a 3-4 Defense that's weak spot is NT.

Makes perfect sense.

I'm guessing they see Clay as a ILB #4 and plan on playing a lot of 3 safety in the nickel.   Hope they don't get run over.

You know more about filling out a 53 player roster than a 2 time NFL GM of the Year and a SB winner. Makes perfect sense.

But the "you don't know more than the GM" criticism is lame. Based on that criteria, nobody could ever say a negative thing. Of course Ted knows more than the posters on this board, but that doesn't mean he's always right. In fact, there's been quite a few instances where the majority opinion of the fans turned out to be the right opinion.

What's the point of a forum if posters aren't supposed to express their opinion? Those who want to agree with everything Ted does already have their own perfect place to go. It's called packers.com.

You misunderstand; it's not that we disagree with you; we're just telling you that you are wrong.

Okay? So it's a lame opinion, deal with it. Branded doesn't like Ted's opinion. I don't like Brainded's opinion. You don't like my opinion. Ted's wrong sometimes and people on fan forum are right sometimes, doesn't mean they should feel like they know as much or more than an NFL GM. Ted always gets the benefit of the doubt from me because he's wrong so little...as evidenced by him having 2 losing seasons in 11 years, over 100 wins, a SB win, multiple accolades all while making unconventional moves like the one he made yesterday.

I still see Callahan going to the PS. No rules about when a player needs to be cut or added to a PS (other than eligibility) or 53.

Thompson signs 7 or 8 PS guys today, cuts Dirty Harry and one of the DBs tomorrow, waits till they clear and then signs them to the PS. Other teams get their PS set today and decide to leave those two alone - we like the guys we have is not just TedTalk, most GM's feel that way.

The bottom of the roster churns a lot, especially this time of year.
