You're better off paying the extra $$ and getting an ipad mini.

Or if you're like me and don't like touch screens, get a Chromebook.

I'd like the cellular version of a tablet for use at my camp - the mini is just too much coin. I'm sure it's nice though as I like my iPod Touch.

Droid tablets are way better than iPads IMO

I have both & used both extensively. Nothing wrong with an iPad but Droid tablets are more fun to use & easier to hack (if you're into hacking)

My wife has an iPad Mini, and my kids have Nexus 7 tablets. I prefer the Nexus, myself. If you're not into customization and tinkering around under the hood, and just want the thing to work, I'd go with the iPad if I were you.

What did you choose, Finn? Wife has a Nexus 7. The thing just works, unlike my first generation Samsung Galaxy Tab which is super buggy.

I'm now waiting for the next gen version to be released. Was rumored to be last month at the I/O but they didn't really release any hardware. Hoping it's soon as I'm itching to get one.

Does your wife's N7 have the cellular feature? Just wondering how well it works.

She has the wifi version. New Nexus 7? Cool. I prefer 10 inchers(no dumb jokes, please) myself. Waiting for my Galaxy to die first before I replace it. Hope that happens as soon as a new Nexus 10 is released.
