I don't recall TT ever being in the market for well past their prime vets, so I don't think this is a bridge Briggs ever has to realistically worry about having to cross

If it was Briggs from about 5 years ago I am game. Now? Not so much
What about Brandon Spikes? He's still a young guy and not sure he would cost a fortune.
I wouldn't want Briggs even if he was interested in playing for the Packers. He still has great instincts, but he's definitely lost a step and it seems he's injured constantly.
If we are talking about a vet player that would come be a great addition I think this guy fits the bill:

He still has some gas in the tank at 31 and would make as big of an impact as Pepp did this season. Doubt he would be cheap, but having a legit NT is something we haven't had since probably the Grady Jackson. Pickett and Raji were/are really good players, but I never thought either truly thrived as a true 0-tech NT in our Base D.

The interior DL is such a big deal in a 3-4 and would cover up a lot of other issues such as mediocre ILB play.
