It's not gonna be close due to unusual fast start by the Packers. Janis does great on returns, but does not score. Eddie scores two TDs, one on a screen, one on a run, and a first quarter defensive TD (forced fumble by Peppers, returned by Clay) doesn't let the Seahawks adequately utilize Beast Mode. Pack up 24-10 at the half and win going away 38-24. Rodgers with a respectable night, but it's truly a team win.

You may see Janis for a play or two at WR, and all he's going to do is go deep.  Agreed that he's not going to handle returns just yet.

It's going to come down to the last possession.  It seems like it's been about 155 years since GB has won its opener.  That's probably because the honks in New York realize that putting GB on national TV against a really good opponent = good TV.  When's the last time GB opened with a tomato can?

Last time they opened the season against a really bad team was against the Lions at Lambeau back in 2001 (Millen's first seaon, they started out 0-12). Packers won 28-6. That awful opener in 2005 against the Lions in Detroit (Ahmad Carroll was flagged nine billion times, Javon Walker blew out his knee after acting like a whiny bitch the whole off-season) qualifies as a "bad team", but the Packers were pretty bad themselves.

Yeah Boris, you can always watch another reality show.

Hawks 27

Pack 17

I wouldn't have expected anything else from you. I'm guessing writing about the Packers losing is like erotica to you.

So, are you going to show up after the Pack wins 27-23?

Previous 12 years super bowl winner is 10-2 to open the season. 0-2 the last 2 years.

Gotta keep the streak going & make it 0-3. Easy? Hell no....but that's what makes the win sweet & rewarding.

I know this much....If the Packers play their game & don't turn the ball over & execute the game plan properly. They're going to be very tough to beat even for Seattle in Seattle.
