The last hotel I stayed at -- a Doubletree in Leominster MA -- didn't have free Wifi and no complimentary breakfast. The server screwed up my bill when I had dinner at the restaurant. The TV didn't have Fox Sports (so no Bundesliga) and no TCM. 
The previous time I visited my sister over in Mass, Dad picked out a "motor court". I swear the place hadn't been updated since the 70s. CRT TVs, and the handle in the shower fell off.
