Lucky that they don't pay for the soft goal allowed there to give the Blues the lead.

Gotta win in OT and they can win this series. Lose, and down 3-1 means no repeat...

He had to make up for the boner penalty he got with 1:16 left in the 2nd.

Yeah, a few dumb penalties last night. Shaw's goal made up for his dumbass penalty, too. 

If they can finish games, the series would already be over. Gotta win tomorrow night and then it's handshake lines on Sunday!

What a 3rd period... Just an avalanche, and it really seemed like the Blues ran out of gas. The Hawks were the better team from the start- only a few foolish plays allowed this series to even get this far, from what I have seen.

The team I fear is the Avalanche. They seemed to have the Hawks' number this year.

Really starting to catch their stride now. The way they're pulling away late in games pint activate tremendous depth they have. The possess the puck and wear you down, they land the KO punches in the third. Great third period Sunday, and "Stanley Time" Bickell is playing big again when it matters most!

The Wild had more game than I expected- but the Champs advance! Big tip of the cap to Crawford, who was standing on his head tonight.

If Oduya wouldn't of had his head up his ass, it would have ended 1-0 in regulation. Can't wait for Sunday.

It's great that ANA/LAK are going 7. Shaw still hasn't practiced, but they'll need him for the final push.

Hopefully Shaw will be ready to go. The Hawks get a few more days rest and are ready to play on Sunday.

Patrick Kane just made a pass would make Gretzky nod his head in approval. Just silly. 

And then Kane pulls an "enough of this ****" goal on his own with 3 minutes left. Just huge testicle stuff for a team staring at elimination.

Not a Hawks fan but Kane's pass to tie it after giving up back to back goals to give up a 2-1 lead with 11 minutes left was special. Backhand diagonal pass to Keith before Keith realized Kane knew he'd be alone if he just moved up to find the pass. Talk about throwing a guy open.

 

Kane's goal a few minutes later was just an epic "I've got his". 

 

Love watching sports when someone is just better than everyone else when it matters. 

One helluva series. Can the Hawks go for one more Cup or will the Kings be trying for their second in 3 years.

We have been waiting for the Hawks best effort- but we haven't seen it yet. Just spurts. The Kings looked like they were going to drive Chicago into the dirt- and the newly formed Shaw/Kane/Saad line just went bats#it the last two games. Crawford stepped up Friday after a rough 2 games stretch.

And that OT period on WED was the best period of hockey displayed these playoffs. An EPIC series ends tonight. It's been a great series between two really good teams- go Hawks!

       
       

Used to be. Came back up north 10 years ago into the Chicagoland area. Been a Hawks fan since I was a kid- it's been a great ride with this squad, watching them grow up before our eyes.

Damn... Just had that feel. After they blew a couple chances on breakaways, they just couldn't get control. Heartbreaker...

Hey MC. Great series, I was sweating game 7 especially early on. It could've gone either way. Bring on the NY Rangers!

Kings talking dynasty... Pretty tough roster. The Hawks are their equal, so it should be awesome seeing these two teams battle it out the next several years. And the Sharks had them on the ropes 3-0... Crazy!

At least the Rangers lost the final.
