Now let's hope MM can find a really good diamond in the rough...another Nolan Cromwell? He was the best I can remember...

Cromwell's STs stunk the first couple of years.  I remember being angry enough at him to write a letter to Packer Report saying he must be replaced.  I don't think we have time for a diamond in the rough.  OTOH almost anyone is an improvement over Slocum.
