Prairie Vodka...good organic stuff.  Doesn't sell worth a hoot though in Colorado.

I heard the news story last week.  Many of you know I was never a fan of Doug Melvin.  I made a big attempt to support him earlier this season.   But now over the last several weeks I have realized my initial opinions of him are still valid.  While he still may be regarded as one of the top of GMs, I fail to see it now.  He has definitely improved the Brewers, but I think he is incapable of guiding them to the next level.   His last several managerial hires have underachieved.  A winning attitude begins at the top and should resonate down thru the entire organization...case in point when Ron Wolf took charge of the Packers.  He immediately changed the mindset of the Green Bay Packers.  To hear the news about Nashville Sounds to me was another mark against Melvin.  In a time when continuity and consistency are key components to success, this change will make it difficult for success to succeed.

But the one good thing is that I can take my family down the C Springs to see some of the up and coming Brewer stars.
