This is a really good article, discussing the evolution of the OW.  It's interesting that WR/TE are being blurred, and now WR/RB/QB are being blurred.  I found it funny that the Jags wanted to list Robinson  as an OW  in their media guide, and the NFL said "please don't".  This article isn't earth shattering, but talks about the evolution, why, and how coaches are creating matchups.  Good Gifs of plays, as well.

Good stuff indeed, thanks for posting it Russ

The evolution continues...

Good stuff. In a league loaded with freakish athlete's it's amazing to me how guys like Percy Harvin and Patterson  are yet another cut above. Amazing gifts some of these guys have. Nice to see Cobb mentioned.

+1

Great article Rusty, thanks for sharing.

Cobb perfectly times his spin move  There was a sliver of space and he managed to find it.  Looks like a cat sneaking through a fence.

Is that Quarless or Rodgers in at TE?  I think it's Quarless and I think that block attempt was really meh.  Maybe it was a weird angle or maybe he was responsible for a certain zone,  but it seems like a timid attempt to get after the LB.

Also love Corey Linsley staying after his block.  As soon as the DLineman started changing direction CL took the leverage and got him moving.
