Seems a lot of mocks have either Perryman or Kendricks available at #30 but have GB picking a NT or DT instead.
Based on the way Ted has picked in the past, I'd guess that he's going to see McKinney and a couple of the DTs as solid first round picks and have Perryman and Kendricks graded just slightly lower. I'd also guess that he'd take Kendricks ahead of Perryman. The combine will play a big factor in this, Ted loves athletes on defense.
The 2 plays by HHCD that really impressed me were:
Breaking up that pass to Gronk in the endzone, I haven't seen a packer safety do that in a long time.
You don't see many S in general doing that at all anymore. Very vet play for him as a rook.
HHCD, and a few other NFL players peppered in this edition from Key & Peele.
FanSpeak just overhauled their big board. Lots more prospects and in more realistic draft slots.

I'll have a hard time ever being upset about Sherrod. Know he didn't show much but good heavens, his was one of the worst on field injuries I ever saw. By all accounts he worked his ass off to try and get on the field again.

Yeah, he's been there both times I've run through it and that would definitely rock mightily. McCarthy looks good with the Mary Guion arrest also.
I'm guessing Ted would pass on Ifo Ekpre-Olomu even if he was sitting there in the third round. Too short for Ted's liking.
Depends on the tape measure. If he's a legit 5'10" with good other measurements he'd be a choice. If he's really 5'8" then no.
I wish I could hear what some of these guys say in meetings. I bet some really ridiculous stuff comes out from both the player and the team (I'm looking at you Jeff Ireland)! That said, I take reports like these with a grain of salt. I'm sure teams love to play games with the media. This could easily be a team at the end of R1 or beginning of R2 trying to shine a negative light on Davis' character so some team thinks twice about picking him.
I took a few classes with Carl at U of I. Seemed like a stand-up, hardworking guy. I tend to take most of what comes out of WalterFootball with a grain of salt. That's where the rumors about Jadaveon Clowney not being a hard worker started during last years draft.

Trader Ted is getting 3 significant contributors from the 2nd round this year.

while it is possible Ted will trade up, I suspect like H5 does, that Ted will work to accumulate additional 2nd and 3rd round picks (not sure about three seconds, but I can see a second and a third being in his pocket that he didn't start the day with).

If Tramon and House both go, I'd be all for a CB early. Hayward is built for the slot and their other choice is a project.
I'd be shocked if both House AND Tramon go. And just as shocked if BOTH come back. House will be interesting, as he's a legit starting CB in this league when healthy. But he's never healthy. Ever. But it just takes one team to roll the dice and drive the price tag beyond what the Packers will pay. If I'm TT, House gets a prove-it deal, $6 million over 2 years. If House is gone, look for the Packers to sign Tramon to a 2-3 year deal averaging $4-5 million a year.
Even when House is healthy he is not a complete CB a la 2010 Tramon (who is clearly gone). House is a bit stiff and struggles with quick shifty receivers when they flank out wide. Though he is good vs physical giants like Julio Jones and Megatroid. If you keep House and let Tramon walk, you still need a guy to replace what Tramon gives you vs. Trips.
No Ted does not have a good record at draft DB's, he gets them through free agency, and undrafted guys.
Thompson's drafted DBs. Pretty good track record from where I'm sitting. He also gets players from UDFA / FA. Here's the thing I like about Thompson.........

TT hasn't drafted a starting-caliber boundary corner in his tenure. He inherited Al Harris, signed Charles Woodson, etc. He did draft both starting safeties and the nickle and dime backs. We rate the claim mostly false.

If he had used a draft pick on Shields and Williams, he'd be considered better at finding corners?
He gets more credit for finding UDFA guys, and the reason drafted guys like Hayward and House haven't started is because of those UDFA that fell into Ted's lap.
Pat Lee can jump over a Volkswagen.
Talk about a guy that flashed in the pan at the right time.
And Woodson was one of TT's few forays in to "real" free agency. When you sign a top-notch, multi-year starter it does kind of alleviate the need to spend picks on one for a few years. Harris & Woodson? Develop Williams. Williams and Woodson? Work in Shields.
