Ok for you to question Lacy's, Boris's, Henry's and god knows who else's masculinity, though.

BTW, where is the mocking?

Well to be fair I question my own masculinity once in awhile.  Sometimes a dude just needs a pair of tights and feather boa to make you feel like a man.

I think you have a point about Boris and Henry, I apologize for unfair comments to them.

But I really don't care for the racial stuff...or suggesting I'm not pure enough...or an Elizabeth Warren fake Native American...or that I need to contact tribal elders to satisfy a forum...or other such mockery of my racial heritage .

Your quote....

"Eddy's feminine side is starting to bother me...I hope he can grow a pair for this next ...and hopefully last season with us. "

Let's get back to exactly what started ALL of this....YOU & your post with the quote above. True or False?

True.

I said....

"No you didn't specifically say the word "homo" but you implied that he isn't "masculine" enough for you ("starting to bother me") ergo you IMPLIED (to put it in your 'old guy' terms) "a little light in the loafers" or gay."

What exactly are you implying here by saying "Eddy's feminine side is starting to bother you."

?????

Please enlighten us. I can't wait to hear this.

P.S. EDIT: I won't be able to respond for a while. I'm certain someone else will be more than happy to take over

I don't care for you trying to project something I didn't say onto me.

If you think Eddy is a homo...don't you dare project that view onto me.

And I've never said I was implying anything.

My statement stands...Eddy's feminine , passive side if you will...is getting to me.

I quoted a source that said the same thing when he was benched last season.

Now again...what the hell is the problem here...other than as a Native American I don't like to be called  old white school.

And you are ok with this?

I could give two ****s about what you have to say or think of me.

Let's make one thing abundantly clear, you're the sniveler who made the threat over a non-existent "slur" after stating a ridiculous assumption.  Who gives a **** if Eddie is gay or not?  Do you truly think that has any affect on how he plays football?  Of course you do and that's why you're getting your sad ass shelled.

There is every stripe of person on this board and the best thing about it is we work on the premise of how much of an ass hole you are on any given day and nothing more.   So STFU about non existent mockery of your race because there isn't a person here that has said diddly squat but rather held your feet to fire.  You've been hoisted on your own petard.  Toughen up and understand the ethos of this place or move on.

As far as Eddie, it's simple.  He was a microcosm of a whole lot of suck on the offensive side of the ball that started from the top down.  If Eddie's re commitment to his weight and approach to football is an indication as to where this offense will be this year the NFL better watch the **** out.

I am really excited to for Eddie this season. The kid is a warrior; runs hard, plays through injuries, is immensely talented.... just has a food addiction. From all accounts he is making strides in this area. Even at 260(?) pounds last year, practice video of the "ropes drill" showed that he still had better feet than Starks. Go back & look at his college highlights, if we get that player this year, Jordy back, & the addition of Cook, it could be a very good year to be a Packer fan.

I think Jarran Reed is a day 1 starter. I think Jack Conklin, Ryan Kelly, and Nick Martin could step in somewhere on the OLine and succeed day 1. I think there are others who can have an impact day 1, it won't be hard to find. The mid-round CB crop is exciting to me, there's a lot of underrated talent.

The one caveat I'd throw in is how so many "mid-round" CBs become "high-round" CBs due to over drafting because of scarcity. Pass rushers, corners and QBs almost all seem to go higher than talented guys at other positions.

One of the actual points tucked away inside the original diatribe was suggesting TT should not re-sign Lacy after this year.

Too early to say.  He's done more good than bad at this point and has so far shown the willingness to grow and improve.  Like Henry said, he was part of a larger sh!tstorm last year and hopefully he correct his part of that.  Revisit after 2016.

It's a passing league - pass the ball, stop the pass.  They're 3 of the 4 (+LT) most important positions on the roster so teams will reach for them.

a - you questioned Eddie's manhood from a picture that after further review was apparently a recreation of 4 'Bama players?

b - you get called on this BS position and GD calls you oldwhiteschool, which will likely never, ever, be considered a racial slur.

c - you bring up that you aren't white but are Native American. Still don't understand your reasoning for injecting this into the discussion, other than maybe to use it as some sort of panty shield against the attacks for your stupidity.

Still waiting for your answer to:

My statement stands...Eddy's feminine , passive side if you will...is getting to me.

Honest question, WHY is it getting to YOU?

Doubt I'll get an answer though.

Now, with about 36 hours until the Packers are on the clock, I need to get back to my consensus board.

Noah Spence sent proof he's been drug free since being kicked out of OSU. I realize being kicked out of OSU is a major red flag, but his drug of choice was ecstasy...while it is still an illegal and addictive drug, on the scale of hard drugs it's probably only slightly harder than marijuana (which is not hard at all). Sounds like a college kid who partied too hard IMO, but the question is not whether drugs are behind him, the question to me is whether the hard partying is behind him or will he get in to trouble again (ala Johnny Manziel). He's so talented it would be hard to pass if you're comfortable he has his crap together.

I can't get the idea of a WR at #27 out of my head.   Would be very unexpected of TT, which is fairly common for him.  He may have looked at last year's situation at WR as a warning about what can happen to AR and the O without a guy like Nelson.  Jordy only has a few years of being Jordy left.  I would think he could draft that guy in 2017 but if somebody like Treadwell or Doctson is there at 27....

I still think he goes DL or LB at 27 but that's based on what little I know.

It looks like maybe 4-5 of these guys will get drafted, the rest are candidates to be signed as Free Agents. A big strength of TT is to "recruit" these guys early. In addition we have a track record of undrafted FAs making our team, which also helps to attract them.

If you didn't  give a Fu*ck you wouldn't feel the need to respond. FAIL.

Your battle is in your own head now...it's your own cognitive dissonance. It's a win /win for me.

I've assigned one Fu*k per paragraph to your present state of CD.

So far...you give 4 Fu*cks.

It would be best if you just let this go....quit while you are behind...and shut up now.

The more you show your CD...the higher the score...the more I win.

I'll be the bigger man and forgive your racist mockery and innuendo as just emotional blather...you were caught up in the moment. I understand.

Yeah, I get a weird inkling as well.  Cobb and Montgomery are excellent receivers but if you don't have a guy over the top it's too easy to limit their production.  Janis is . . Janis.  Dervante looked so bad last year Uncle Ted may not be willing to essentially go with 1 reliable deep guy coming off a knee injury.

Can we rename this thread title to Old School Nonsense...and start a new draft thread.  This guy doesn't want to move on or just stop responding to him.  I like reading peoples comments about the draft, but no one needs to filter though the **** comments like above.

I put him on ignore after the run in I had with him on the definition of "xenophobic".  But I've skimmed everyone's responses and can tell I'm not missing much.  Agree on going back to the draft.  This is always a fun time as a fan, talking about the prospect of getting the next CMIII, etc.

But, doesn't Cook represent an addition to taking the top off a defense?

Just enough of an addition for TT to take his chances this season, and leave it as is.
