If the Bengals sign Kapernick, we'll lose big because Dum has no answer for the Read Option.  However, my local high school teams stop it every Friday night.

Appreciate the insight and agree the Bengals have talent, but in addition to the OL being in shambles there is also the little issue of the insurrection involving the starting QB.

The frustrations with Dalton, among fans and teammates, are longstanding and his play has been so putrid in 2017 that Kaepernick is now being talked about as a genuine alternative.

If Dom allows this team, which is averaging 4.5 points at home to come into Lambeau and go off, it will be right up there with his making Colin K into a supposedly legitimate NFL star QB.

No way Cincy should score 20 on Sunday in Green Bay.

Good points and have heard that stuff all morning today about how unnamed Cincy players want the Bunguls to sign Kaepernick.  I am still very leary of the Dalton and Green combo on Sunday.  Over the past few years that combo has put up some pretty good numbers at times.  That and the Dom factor.  His defenses just have this habit of giving up big numbers to a QB or WR that hasn't been doing too well.

Boris, I couldn't agree more about comparing this defense to a movie about the Titanic.  It may look good starting out and things are going smoothly but Dom will steer towards the iceberg.

It is simply not true that Dom has no answer for the read option. If you remember correctly, after getting embarrassed by Kaepernick's record setting running performance in the 2012 playoff game, Dom & his staff studied the read option all offseason.

And quick studies they were, for in game 1 of the 2013 campaign, the Pack shut down Kap in the running game.

Course, Kap also threw for a career high 412 yards and 3 TDs in that 34-28 loss to the Niners, but never, never let it be said that Dom did not shut down the read option that day in SF.

In terms of securing home field advantage it very well could be a very significant loss.

And it very well may not matter.

It's not how you start, but how you finish.

It seems like Capers would rather lose with veteran players than win with rookies. What better time to let the young guys get experience than early in the season rather than later when GB is playing for its playoff life.

Seems to me that I read somewhere that ARod has never beaten the Bengals. I am hoping GB isn't taking Cincy too lightly because of their record or because of Dalton's play. I look for the score to be closer than everyone here thinks it will be. Maybe 24-17 GB.  Everyone plays tough against GB and getting a win at Lambeau may be the feather in the cap Cincy has been looking for to turn their season around. Never underestimate your opponent!

Holy sh*t I had no idea Clay already passed Reggie White on the all-time sack list and is .5 away from tying KGB. Way to go Clay! 

Matthews was definitely a bright spot against Atlanta.  He was bringing it on every play and didn't look to be taking any plays off.  Hopefully he can keep that up for 16 games (i.e. stay healthy).

Perry, on the other hand, looked to have hit the same happy hour Bennett did. Both of those guys need to bounce back this Sunday and have big games.

Atlanta looked to be gameplanning to take away Perry after he blew up Seattle. That opened things up for Clay. That's the beauty of two really good pass rushers, offenses can't work to take away either or both.

Certainly looks that way. 

Daniels injury is a hip, not hamstring.

So this isn't a bye week?  I wouldn't count a scrimmage against the Bengals as a game.
