I can't recall how much Vick played in that first game, was it the whole 2nd half or just the 4th. Not sure how much can be learned from it, actually Minnyhaha did a great job of making him try to read the defense, something Vick still struggles with IMO.

IIRC Kolb got knocked out fairly early. I think Vick came in sometime in the 2nd qtr.

Edit:
Found this on YouTube. Matthews knocked KOlb out almost exactly half way through the 2nd qtr....

Matthews sacking Kolb
The Packers didn't game plan for Vick, and certainly not for his scrambling. Remember, up until that game, wehn the Eagles let Vick play in the previous season (for McNabb a few plays a game)he was limited to a certain number of plays he would run.

The knock on him up until the Packers game this year was he didn't know their playbook, and that is why the wanted Kolb over him.

I haven't heard anything about that game yet. How did Vick look?

Kolb did not finish the game. He played the entire first half with the exception of a play or two Vick came in for the 'wild cat" formation. Vick started the second half and played the rest of the game.

what is LFT time?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Do we need to get up at midnight, or what?

Lambeau Field Time

Reid already trying to play games by saying that Vick might not start on Sunday.

Uh huh, yeah right.

Thanks, Yuck.

Be interesting to see just how banged up Vick is, i'm sure he'll play no matter what but if the hits come early and often, will he be able to finish?

The Queens really knocked him around in that game, and IMO they really forced him into making some bad decisions. If we can knock him around early, I think we can really limit his effectiveness.
Vick's stats from game #1 in half the game:

16-24 for 175, 1 TD, 0 INTs, 101.9 passer rating
11 carries for 103 yards (4 for 20 in the 1st half, 7 for 83 while in at QB)

He led them on 6 drives in the second half:

-TO, 3 plays for 39 yards ending in a fumble by Buckley
-TD, 9 plays for 60 yards
-Punt, 3 plays for 5 yards
-TD, 9 plays for 79 yards
-FG, 9 plays for 45 yards
-downs, 6 plays for 34 yards (Vick stuffed on 4th and 1 and sacked on 2 of the previous 3 plays)

Didn't play - at least didn't have any stats

Sorry, I had been talking elsewhere in the thread about today's Dallas/Philly game. That's the one I to which I was referring.
Should (when) the Packers beat the Eagles, looks like they'll play the Saturday late game the following week. They've announced on Comcast Chicago that the Bears will play the noon game on Sunday, January 16.

I think Kolb played the entire first half and was benched/pulled after half time.

The Eagles only had the ball once after Kolb got knocked out. The Packers controlled the ball for most of the rest of the half. Kolb did play a few snaps on that series but Vick did as well including the final play to set up the FG.

Someone on NFLN just had to bring up the 4th and 26 in the last playoff game in Philly. Mad
According to Yahoo! gamelog play-by-play, Kolb took all three snaps before the punt of the Eagles last series in the 2nd quarter:

Philadelphia - 1:42 left ot play befoer the half

1st-10, PHI26 1:42 K. Kolb incomplete pass to the right
2nd-10, PHI26 1:36 K. Kolb passed to L. McCoy to the right for 6 yard gain
3rd-4, PHI32 1:10 K. Kolb passed to M. McGlynn down the middle for 1 yard gain
4th-3, PHI33 0:41 S. Rocca punt, no return

Packers got the ball back and were able to drive and kick a FG as time expired. Vick came out to start the 2nd half and played the rest of the game.

PL-VA, my bad. I was looking at the first quarter and thinking it was the 2nd. I saw a sack of Kolb but that must have been the 1st one. So Kolb took 3 snaps after the concussion. The Packers had the ball for the rest of the 2nd half.
Gameplanning advantage to the Packers. Packer coaches knew who they would have to prepare for if they made the playoffs and got a head start on the gameplan while the Eagles had to guess between the Giants, Packers, and Bucs.
even though you took our place in the playoffs, I am going to be rooting hard for you guys against the hated Eagles. There is no team I despise more than them.

DeSean Jackson is a punk! I would love to see someone knock him out again.

Philly fans are the worst in the league along with the Raider fans... so, just like Barber did in 2002, I would love to see you guys leave them crying about their pathetic team!

GO PACKERS!!!!
