I'm just gonna toss this in here quick rather than start a new thread since it's Dumber Than a Box of Rocks week with NFL players this month.

http://profootballtalk.nbcspor...er-failed-drug-test/

But Brent is making it harder and harder to justify that support.
According to NBC 5 in Dallas, Brent is back behind bars, after failing a second test for marijuana.
Brent reportedly tested positive earlier this month as well, while he’s out on bond awaiting trial for the death of teammate Jerry Brown.

Most likely, they ran the slugs found in Loyd’s body and got a balistic match for the Boston murders…..then they checked the local retal establishments to see if he had rented a car around that time frame.

From the PFT link posted by TDog. Don't know how true or accurate it is

------------

Word in the 305 (Miami/Dade County) is that he was here for a reason when he shot that guy in the face and why there is no police report. That guy is a dealer helper in the Hernandez ring down here. There may be a few more bodies that got got by AH’s crew or himself here. The bullets up there have been linked down here supposedly to a few bodies with holes in them. So your count is gonna head higher by the time this is over.

--------------------

If this is true, like I said earlier....tip of the iceburg

Boris;  If that poster is correct about linking the Fla crimes to the NE shootings, then AH  is the most inept gangster I know.  My 13 y\o neighbor plays some kind of violent video game and every time he shoots someone he throws the weapon away so the cops can't link the crimes.  Maybe AH can hire him as co counsel!

Some people watch Goodfellas. Some people watch CSI and The First 48. My gut tells me Hernandez watched Jackass.

And if that 13 year old next door comes by and offer's to mow the lawn... tell him yes, pay him well,  and keep your head on a swivel.

Indeed, when I first read your comments about the concussion, I thought it would be a pretty slick defense strategy - but the more that comes out.. WOW

These other 2 guys who were with him. We haven't heard anything about them, their names or anything. I'm guessing they rolled on AH & are now under witness protection.

I was thinking that all day, Sir!  This is FU!!!

But this isn't a guy who simply uses his power to get things done.  He wants to be involved in the killing/s personally.  It would be a lot easier and smarter to order other guys to do it and keep himself clean.  He does order guys to join him from another state (not confident enough to do it himself... he needs the support or backup) but it's his own anger that drives it so he has to be there to get the true gratification of the act.  Welker is lucky AH eventually figured out how to use that film viewing machine.

No kidding, I bet there are many people thinking, "damn, I'm glad he's out of circulation"

Hernandez hired a defense attorney who's last name is Fee.

It's been a string of bad decisions.

Aaron, when you go to general population. There's always a candy bar and a cigarette on your bunk. NEVER touch either. You can't pay them back. Establishing credit in prison has a price.

One of those 2 guys is recently now allegedly in jail in Conneticut on $1.5 mil bail for something or other and is waiting extradition to Massachesettes in this case. IMHO if that guy and maybe the other are giving evidence in this case to police, maybe they are also giving info on the 2012 killings as well (providing they know anything about it of course) to save their own hide or get a reduced sentence...

This.
I read a story yesterday that said this guy in CT had a public defender (as opposed to a "defense team" for AH), and I knew at that point he would be singing like a canary. You can't leave these guys hanging out to dry and expect them to keep quiet about what they know.

Why do people always look for an excuse for somebody's decisions and/or actions?

That's what 'we' get for having lawyers taking over our judicial system, but there still comes a point in time where people have to be held accountable.

If his brain functioned well enough to drive a vehicle, communicate, plan an action, and attempt to destroy evidence, his concussion injury was not a factor.

Timmy, I think your last sentence is completely wrong and is one of the big issues people face who sustain a head injury when others don't understand how it impacts them.  That being said, it's pretty clear the concussion is not responsible for AH's behavior.  He has longstanding issues.

Besides the 2 guys that were with AH when Lloyd got executed possibly assisting police with pertinent information, I would not be surprised if Lloyd's sister (the one he was texting to on the night he got killed) was also providing essential info on what she knows to police. If as speculated AH could'nt trust Lloyd due to talking bout stuff being the reason for the murder, Lloyd likely would also have confided in his sister about the same things.

No expert, but I think there might be enough evidence now to make it a federal crime and the FBI gets involved. For instance, bringing in help from across state lines to assist in the murder. Utilizing vehicles registered in another state and rented from out of state to facilitale in doing the crime, e.g. multi-state racketeering, etc etc. Thats BIG if it becomes a Fed case as then I think a death penalty could be pursued, vs just a mandatory life sentence per Massachusettes law. Perhaps some of our legal experts here at X4 could chime in on if it could end up being a federal case?

Not for sure yet how to post a link, so I'll do it the old-fashioned way:

27 NFL players arrested since Super Bowl.

http://sports.yahoo.com/photos...uper-bowl-slideshow/

When I clicked on T-bird's link, I saw there was yet another arrest since the above story was posted.

...and in the "You can't believe everything you read on the internet" category.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/...stice-143624424.html

The Patriots apparently didn't even know what Hernandez would be charged with when they cut him not long after his arrest. The Boston Globe wrote that the Patriots "expected Hernandez to be arrested for obstruction of justice, and were 'taken aback' when he was charged with murder."

That's some lame writing by Frank Schwab (agreeing with it) & even worse from the BG. There is no way, on gods green earth, the Pats cut AH if the only charge he's going to receive is an obstruction of justice charge.

The NFL has their own security and PI's. They knew what he was going to be charged with & it's murder 1. Also, this came from Bob Kraft too. No way Billy B cuts AH on his own authority.

Don't worry though....I'm sure the league will figure out someway to give the Pats some compensation back so they don't lose the entire $12.5 million

Is there precedent of the league doing this for other teams that had guys in trouble?

Agree with you, Herschel. I'd hate for my kid to run around in an AH jersey after this. It was a classy thing for the organization to do; a lot classier than the adult Pats fans who continue to wear them.

In a (sort of) funny coincidence, noted Patriot killer Bernard Pollard could notch Hernandez on his list.

Pollard was the one who took out Brady's knee in 2008, Welker's knee in 2009, Rob Gronkowski's ankle in the 2011 AFC Championship game, and then knocked Stevan Ridley out in the latest AFC Championship game.

Pollard was also the last one to tackle Hernandez as seen here.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this, Dr. B.
I see it as an immediate attempt to shift blame off the person who committed an action.
The primary factor has to be compassion and justice for the victim, NOT the perpetrator. Any other factor that is claimed as a cause for these actions is defense lawyer bullchit, and does not absolve them of their responsibility. They should never be considered until the primary factor is satisfied.
And please know this is not a personal attack on you; rather just the railings against the lack of acceptance of personal responsibility by society at large.

How about the people selling their jerseys on ebay?

Timmy, I don't mean my comments as a personal attack either and I don't wish to derail the thread so I'll try to keep it brief.  I understand the need to reject a deeper understanding of the mind/brain because if we don't, our conventional understanding of justice and morality falls apart.  But my interest is not about getting criminals off the hook but rather trying to address those factors head on before they lead to criminal behavior, whether it's related to brain injuries, childhood abuse/neglect, being a Raiders fan, or other negative influences.

Ditto, 'Bong.

Thanks for the reply, too, Dr. B.

Explained like that, I suspect we aren't really that far apart in our lines of thinking.

"...being a Raiders fan"...

Edited to add that authorities have now connected AH to the killings in Boston in 2012:

http://www.charter.net/news/re...help_in_hernandez-ap

Murder, Ruptures a guys ear drum, Domestic Violence in LA last year with his pregnant ex, Nicole Brown Simpson babysat him when he was 6, Shot a guy in the eye, Double homicide in Boston....

Ok, one of those was made up. But maybe OJ was right about looking for the real killer.
