Integrate it into replay challenges, maybe give each team 2 challenges total per half and so be it. At least it eliminates the two worst calls that the dipsycht refs make (unless they uphold the wrong call----but that never happens. )

Just have guys watching the games, give time when it is needed but if you can't make a decision otherwise in 90 seconds, the call stands.   Screw the whole challenge flag game.  

By personal fouls, I'm assuming they mean hits to the head/neck area, defenseless receivers, blows to QBs head, and so forth.

Review for PI is long overdue, as is a re-education of what an "uncatchable" ball is, as well as a receiver pushing off.

 

It may be coming to where all  penalties will be subject to review. I don't know how these phantom calls can be overcome otherwise.

I highly doubt we'll get to the point where you can challenge a NO-call (meaning the ref's missed a blatant PI, holding, etc). If we do that, might as well plan to be watching the game for 6 hours.

 

This I assume are for called PF that a team could challenge. And if PI is next, I would think that again is for called PI.

I think they should review every call.

Yeah, but not my only job. If the games are 10 hours long I don't have to fill my wife's honey do list.

GL - You will just have to reprogram your NFL friendly wife with the new NFL longer game software download.  Goodell says the $140 price tag is affordable.  And you will need the bigger NFL cooler to hold enough treats & beverages for those longer games.  There is a longer list of items the NFL would want you to upgrade with, but these are the main two. 

More stoppage in play = more commercials.  More commercials = more $$$$$$ in NFL owner pockets.  Except us Packer owners. For us it just means longer games. 

I'd like to see a NFL game spread out over the entire weekend.  Kickoff Saturday morning.... commercials for a few hours, run a few plays.... more commercials, etc.  The game would end on Sunday night where we would then watch all the highlights coupled with more commercials.

We already have pre & post game commentary by dipschits, we're almost a BSPN.

I still think that the coach should be able to challenge everything that happens on the field, including penalties. Refs are only human and they make mistakes, but simple human error should not be the reason a team wins or loses or even just the reason a TD gets called back. Opponents say it will slow down the game, but coaches have a lot of freedom to challenge things now and they rarely do it because they're waiting to use them on a critical moment...that won't change. And really if they're stupid enough to challenge something easy then they deserve to lose a timeout. Like I said though, a phantom PI or a PF should not decide a game.

I'd like to see opposing coaches throw the challenge flag to get Jim Harbaugh penalized when he runs out on the field.

That rule was implemented because of him. Has he even been penalized for it yet? I have a hard time believing he has stopped doing it
