For the defense putting it in neutral, considering the injuries on D, I can't get that upset. There is talent with Ebron and Jones and Stafford has been pretty good at times.

But if look across the NFL, it's not just GB but simply the way many many defenses play when you go up that much. It's natural to put that schit in neutral. Everyone does it.

Nick Perry, Mike Daniels, and even Fackrell with really nice games. Joe Thomas is becoming a guy offenses want to seriously avoid.

Never thought I'd be thankful for having a BYE so early, but it's well timed now.

I was frustrated with the secondary in the second half, but it is good to remember, like others have said, a lot of young guys getting their first serious action today. Randall has no excuse; he has the potential to be the next Revis but has been playing like Antuan Edwards lately.

Much better than last week, there's still work to do but it still looks like the catcalls and panicking last week were premature. This Run D along Blake and Jake look REALLY good.

Paws:

+ Nick Perry is a beast.  Two sacks and even better Performace against the run.

+ D line continues to play great against the run.  Daniels, Clark and the no names.

+ Rodgers accuracy returned.  He got the ball out on rhythm and it was glorious to watch.

+  The return on the slant set the tone for the game early.

+ Jordy is back.  Looked confident with the ball in his hands.

+  o line,  great protection and some Huge holes.  Bahk hasn't had a single holding call, his biggest issue, since he got paid.  Taylor holding his own is huge.

+ ILB group is legit.  Ryan has improved a ton, Thomas looks like Urlacher out there and Martinez continues to impress.

Will get that fixed:

- Young CB's continue their decline.  Not good.

- I can cover more ground on my crutches than Micah Hyde.  Was 3 steps late to the boundaries all game long.  Several missed tackles as well as getting beat by Ebron.   The guy isn't good but the coaches love him.  Hawk 2.0

Plus:

First half offense, Jordy,  first half defense

Minus: Hawkins giving up TD--he literally stopped when Jones caught the ball as if he thought Jones was out of bounds.

We paid a high powered offense and managed to shut down the Lions in the first half.  A bend but don't break, make them use up clock defense was good decision, given the inexperience that was playing in the back end.  I would have like to see more play action by MM, especially when the run is really going with Lacy.

Plus

MM called a great first half.

Rodgers was back in great form.  Two bad plays stopped momentum: the goofy holding call on Bulaga; Davis's dropped  pass.

Lacy looked real good:  Loved the 4 straight runs with him.

Run D has been stellar

Perry was all-pro and Daniels too.

TyM smart play to touch the ball at the 2 yard line when he planted his feet out of bounds

Negative

MM's aggressive play-calling shrank in the 4th quarter: Deserved to hear fans booing play selection with 4 minutes left.

Defenders cannot stop pass.

CBs dropped three INTs

Got to disagree with this one. Vikes, Broncs, and Seahawks do not let up on D.

The Pats never coast on O. They go for the jugular.

They may get beat, but they play with intensity until the end of the game.

+'s - Defense will be fine. They'll level off. As said, hard not to have a let down when you're up 31-3 in week 3 with four top defenders out. Not an excuse, just human nature.

-'s - The Vikings ruin my Sunday. I have major issues when it comes to that team admitably, but man I swear I think I cheer for them to lose as much as I cheer the Packers to win. Seeing their success is like a driver to my balls.

ITs a win, probably should have been an easy win by NFL standards.  Credit to the defense for hanging one, lots and lots of inexperienced guys out there in the backfield, the ILB play has been better than expected and NOBODY can block Daniels at this point.  Offense never got a chance to get it going in second half really, Davis needs some reps kid looks good.

Bye week comes at good time, Matthews, Burnett and Jones play this game and I doubt the Lions get even close to 17 points.

Preseason is officially over, next 3 games at home time to take control of this division and NFC!!!!
