Couderay is not too far from Hayward. It is also well-known for being where Al Capone had his northern fortress. My old man, when he was a kid, used to sell Al's brother Ralph (who hung out in Mercer most of the time) chicken eggs.

Back on topic, Jamaal says he'll be ready to go come playoff time. He's a perfect complement to Jones. Would love to see more two back sets with the two of them.

A great bar in Couderay with a song on the juke box with the refrain...

 "COuderay , Couderay

where the women are ugly

and the kids are mean".

Things were different and more fun back in the day.

Jamaal trying to raise funds for his charity...they hit the goal of $5000 in rather short order, but they want to see if they can double it. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, feel free to pass the link along...

Avgd 4+/carry, right?

Could also explain why Adams went off. If the safeties were up all the time, he'd have more room to roam. Seems like a questionable strategy on the Texans' part. I'd rather make Williams beat me than Adams. Williams is a good RB, but he's not Jones. The plays that Jones could break for 60 yards are more like 15 yard gains for Williams

It does.   They played a ton of single high.

Any defense that plays single high vs. Rodgers gets torched like 999 times out of 1,000 -- I laugh every time I see it. Rodgers saying on McAfee's show I just didn't want to miss him (Adams) because he was so wide open.

Best of luck, Jamaal! You're going to need it!

Seriously, Jones is a good RB, and can be a 1000-yard back given the right circumstances. I just don't think the Loins are close to the right circumstance.

Detoilet had one of the greatest RBs evah, and he dealt us a lot of misery (2,227 yards in 21 career games, including nine contests in which he gained at least 120 yards on the ground). But the bottom line was they never won a damn thing.

We can handle Williams.

The Vikings have some pretty good talent on both sides of the ball. Barring significant injury(s), they’ll be in the mix for the playoffs.

Regarding Jamaal, seems like a great guy, great teammate.  Hope he has a good career with Detroit.
