Robert Kraft does not agree to a $1 million dollar fine and losing 2 draft picks if nothing actually happened. Even if he spins it as doing so for the betterment of the league.

I dont think he cares either. He has 4 Lombardi trophies and a team worth billions.

History won't be kind to the Patriots however. We are going on 15 years of questionable behavior.

I always wonder what the last 15 years of Patriot football looks like if Walt Coleman didn't go tuck rule in 2001. Does Bledsoe remain QB in 2002?

Fun little fact you might only learn on X4 regarding the Pats and the tuck rule game.

When NE called TO with 2:06 left Eric Allen meandered over to the Pats bench and listened into a dumbass rookie QB named Brady call for 3 slants. Allen relayed that to Gruden who dialed up press coverage and moved Woodson to the slot and told him to get Brady.

Coverage froze Brady and Woodson got home. Walt Coleman did the rest.

FWIW. Eric Allen might be one of the most underrated DBs ever. He had one more INT and one fewer TDs than Deion. He was as good a DB as there has ever been.

I meant what evidence do people have that the Patriots cheat?

I agree.  I've been waiting for evidence of this "gravity" that everyone is talking about and I just don't buy it.  Hippy dippy baloney.  Nixon's Ghost/Belichek 2016.

I have no skin in the game on this but I have never seen any actual proof of any cheating by NE. I think people who believe that just see what you want to see. Those people think they must be cheating because they're such a good football team year over year.  So in order to be right, they just see the things that make them right and ignore all the things that might make them wrong. just a bunch of pygmalion effects setting off circles of really convincing, yet self-fulfilling prophecies.  nothing more.

the emotional responses seem to indicate that that assessment is more likely than not.

Or just crawled out from it.

If you forgot the 2007 taping of each teams hand signals plus down & distance. Then creating a DVD for each of the 31 teams. All swept under the rug for the "good of the league"

This isn't conjecture or debate or science fiction.  It is fact.

Welcome to the real world Pablo or perhaps you weren't following the NFL 8 years ago.

Let us know when, why, and how deflategate was debunked. I really want to hear this.

And dont don't waste anyone's time with Berman vacating Brady's suspension. i think we've all followed the news close enough to understand why that happened.

So lay a little NESN on us. A little Boston Globe spin. Throw on a ****ing Bruins jersey and go full southie on us!

How can I possibly care about the NFL if the Super Bowl champs are actually cheaters and the league knows it and doesn't do anything about it?!?!?!?!?

**** ME. The NFL filed appeal to be heard within 5-6 months. Those arguments are going to be heard before the Super Bowl. Its been known for two weeks they plan to do something about it. You follow the news, right?

There are league officials and team representatives on record that have caught the Patriots red handed - taping and observing practices and team related events as an attempt to gather Intel to diagnose plays.

Of course the Patriots will deflect and try to discredit those involved but make no mistake about it - they have been caught multiple times with their proverbial hand in the cookie jar.

The opinions of fans about the state of the NFL is merely a deflection of the fact that you're incorrect about the Pats cheating and a typical spin move.  I know what to expect of you though buddy.

The outcry in general should give you a good indicator that fans of non-cheating organizations are generally upset with the tainted affair.  People watch for the sport, not the organization that rakes in the money.  I'd be glad to elaborate on it for you right after you acknowledge the ethos of cheating that pervades the Patriots organization.
