2 yes 2 home runs by Kris Davis. Brewers lead 2 -1 in the 4th.
Braun hits a 474 foot homer to left. Longest homer ever hit to left field, 4th longest in Miller Park history.
check out First Out at Third. They posit that even though Braun is playing pretty good, he's still been unlucky. It seems the surgery on the thumb made a huge difference (not surprising) as his power has really come back.
yup, pitching and defense fell apart.
I still think Loshe will be fine if everything works out for him
Peralta is going on the DL with a rib-cage strain. David Goforth coming up.

Don't look-
Who is currently the clubhouse leader in wins?
Braun hits a 474 foot homer to left. Longest homer ever hit to left field, 4th longest in Miller Park history.
Back on the juice?
just don't get caught this time
Maybe the top 3 longest HR's at Miller Park were from Prince Fielder ?
The prince of 3TO holds the longest, IIRC
Walk the pitcher and he scores. Way to go Garza. This ones over.
Good to know it's over by June 1
Start making deals
Well....they are facing Bumgarner. I'd give them a pass today
Invariably, you check the box scores and which team almost always score first and usually in the first inning? One guess...it ain't the Brewers. This team is playing bad and not necessarily because they are bad.
What a long season it is going to be if'n something doesn't turn around at least a little bit. But hey, at least those guys are still cashing their big paychecks...so someone is happy.
for the amount of money they make, you would think they would try harder. Seems for certain Counsell isn't getting through to them, they lose for him as much as they did Ron.
The next obvious move is to scapegoat the pitching coach. It's hard to believe how badly this pitching staff has performed, especially when one looks at the rich tradition of Doug Melvin pitching staffs.
And if that doesn't work then Danny-Boy Attanasio and Douggie need to serious evaluate the performance of people like the equipment manager and the mailroom assistant. Eventually they will find the problem.
The pitching staff misses Luc.
Luc makes them a slightly below average staff.
Maldy has a CERA of 4.13 this year. Luc had a CERA of 3.64 last year (Maldy was 3.81).
I see they didn't try very hard again today
They did manage to strike out less than SF
And, really that's winning.
It's a full meal deal - bad coaching, poor performance by the players, bad personnel decisions by Mlevin, etc. Everyone needs to own this debacle and take a giant bite out of this **** sandwich
It really is befuddling how a team that one year ago had the best record in all of MLB and then suddenly implodes in historic mega fashion.
I think they are playing better for Counsel than RR. And RR should never have been brought back for 2015. My guess is that Doug Melvin is next to move or go. The owner should want a new man to come in and re-shape the team and organization especially if they begin to overhaul the roster.
I don't know the dynamic between Doug Melvin and Mark Attanasio, but if Melvin sold his owner on the notion that Lohse and Garza were capable of anchoring an MLB rotation, he needs to be held accountable
Less strikeouts = WINNING!!!
