Does anyone recall off hand when Tony Dungy came out of the closet about his racial background?   I have long suspected many players in the league weren't white, but they were discreet enough to keep it to themselves.  It was only after his playing days that Esera Tuaolo revealed he wasn't white.  Can you imagine the shiitstorm if he had told people earlier?

But I thought the actual race was my choice...

What if I had one race announcement and told everyone I was white so I could get the presents, but then later announced to people I really want to be Black/Mexican/Indian (the good kind) 6 months later?  Do I have to give my presents back?

Why is life so hard?

All I can say is, I sure am glad as hell I chose to be left handed.

My Dad and brothers, all righties, and avid golfers I would gotten their used clubs. But screw YOU Dad and Bro's. I wanted NEW clubs, not some hand-me-down shi*!. That's why I decided to be a lefty. Same with baseball gloves. I wanted my parents to go to extra stores to find left handed gloves that would fit a kid my size. Those extra trips? Yep..gotta prove their love to me!!

And I am really glad I chose to stop growing at 6 feet. Yep...that seemed like the perfect size. Not to tall, not too short. Just right.

And size 11 was the perfect shoe size for me. Most variety and most available size shoe. So I just told my feet enough and to stop growing. Still really happy with that choice.

Lastly, I always wanted dark eyes and hair. Most of my friends were blond/blue eyes. Not me bitches. I was standing out. Another great choice I made.

What I don't understand is why it is so quiet from the LGBT community and the mainsteam media outlets that like to report all of this stuff all of the time?  If Roger Baddall had said what TCTD said, I do believe it would believe it would be the headline on the 6 pm news shows and the "community" would ask for his resignation.

Why isn't the intolerant LGBT Community all over this to make their point? ....hmm....they are suspiciously quiet.  They are one of the most intolerant groups themselves.

Once mainstream media saw the rating needle dip after the Michael Sam draft spectacle. They're less apt to go back to that well.

Probably more to the point. The rest of the world is a pretty ****ed up place at this particular moment. Tony's thoughts on Michael are pretty much getting the lack of attention it deserves.

Tony is entitled to his opinion, but everyone who criticizes him is entitled to their opinion as well. If they want to call Tony an idiot or intolerant then they have the right to do that, it's not the "PC Police" cracking down on poor Tony. He's a public figure and if he can't be smart enough to keep his opinions on hot button issues to himself then he deserves to be criticized. It's not wrong for him to have an opinion, but there's a reason why guys like successful media personalities like Rich Eisen don't weigh in on these discussions...no matter what they say they are going to get criticized so it's best not to say anything. [rant] What the heck is so wrong with not discussing your personal beliefs with the entire country? Tony has "clarified" his statement several times since it was made, if you can't intelligently articulate your thoughts then don't say anything at all. He either meant what he said or he's an idiot and can't say what he means, either way he opened his mouth and deserves all the flak he's getting. [/end rant]

Anybody in America has the right to express his/her opinion. And anyone in America has the right to agree or disagree with another's opinion and to express their views as well. It's called the First Amendment, and I, for one, am d***ed glad we have it.

The fact that opinions today are expressed as shouting to drown out the dissenters rather than as debatable openings can be blamed on talk radio and cable TV hosts who are intolerant of others' opinions. I'd like to see more talking, less shouting; more "let's discuss this," less "I'm right and you're wrong."

This is the epitome of butthurt conservatives crying as they get piss pounded for their statements.  Just don't get the fact that freedom of speech is a two way street.  Nor do the idiots understand the uproar becomes larger and larger because more people across the spectrum are over simpletons who can't see their own bile piled in front of them.  "Why aren't those homos more tolerant of being second class citizens?"

I love Boot Straps McReagan crying like a the sheltered punk twat he is when things get rough.

wow...speaking of intolerant people, Hank.   You just made my point, thanks!

now, don't get all butt-hurt about being called out on your intolerance....you know, start swearing and calling others' names when you can't defend your point of view and all.

BTW....calling any American a "Reaganite" is a compliment.  Thanks!
