Bucky - those stats only go back to 1950 so...

I did find this - and I'm not buying the book

Finally, the entries for numbers 1, 2, 6, and 10 are "cheats." The subject of those chapters never actually wore that number on the field in a game. For Curly Lambeau (1), Charley Mathys (2) and Cub Buck (10), these were the numbers assigned them in game programs. The case for Vince Lombardi (6) is more complicated and is explained in the entry itself.

Sorry, but this ones been sticking in my head all day. And I'm calling BS.

You don't run for 1,320 yards on 204 carries and average 6.5 yards/carry and 17 TD's in the SEC then destroy Georgia in the SEC Championship game and lay waste to Notre Dame in the BCS Championship because all you do is play Black Ops and eat Ding Dongs and have zero motivation and need mom to tell you to go run. C'mon man.

Maybe he's fighting demons after Katrina. You and I won't ever understand what he's been through. And maybe he'll never be a great NFL RB. We'll see. All I know. Based on what he's done. When a QB put's that ball in his hands something makes him go. He's got potential labels. None of them is lazy.

Had to cheat this morning.
