The Packers definitely help themselves in the UDFA race by 1) Regularly signing them to the final roster and b) Having a strong quarterback school to develop players, so even if they don't make the final roster they get something out of it.

Geronimo Allison being the last signing would be the greatest possible red bow to slap on this draft week. Other than signing Brett Kaepernick.

Brett Kaepernick. I wonder if he knows who his real dad is.

First of all, good for Stave

Other than joining that pisser of an organization, he has a chance to get paid to play football. Second, 'Can't escape him?' Cause he's so elusive? .

Punter and humanitarian Peter Mortell tweeted that he is signing with the Packers. Congrats !

Ya Dere Hey Greeen Baaye!

His Dad Jerry was friends with my brother in freaking grade school! Jerry married a Murphy (another big GB family name), so GB natives will be rooting up a storm for this guy. Everyone knows a Mortell or a Murphy in GB. I went to HS with a couple Mortells (Jenny and Suzy, his aunts).

(some spell it ya DER hey, but it's ya DERE hey)

Did your dad teach him how to punt?

In fact he did! On our Elders' burial mound. Old School's niece Red Snapper used to hike the ball. Small, small world.

Really hope this guy is brought in: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/...overbaugh?id=2555368

OVERVIEW

The Overbaughs take serious road trips to watch their son, Jeff, play for the Aztecs. They live in Alaska, where his father, Bill, is the recreational director of the state's Bureau of Land Management. They've been able to see him play from Day 1, as he took over the snapping duties as a true freshman. Four years and 53 games later, he's been about as reliable for the Aztecs as a collegiate long snapper can be, connecting on 510 straight snaps. Chris Rubio, a well-known snapping instructor, named Overbaugh second team All-American for the 2015 season.

ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS

Good snap speed and accuracy for field goals and punts. Balls comes out with a tight spiral and finishes laces out most of the time on field goals. Has never bounced or snapped it over the holder or punter's head. Attended long-snapping camps in the summer growing up. Trained by long snap guru Chris Rubio.

WEAKNESSES

Camped amongst Kodiak bears growing up.

DRAFT PROJECTION

Undrafted free agent

NFL COMPARISON

Joe Cardona

BOTTOM LINE

Has the snap speed and outstanding accuracy to get a shot in the league. While it isn't easy to break into the NFL long-snappers club, he also has decent size with room to get bigger. Overbaugh's willingness to tackle helps.

Joe Callahan: "An NFC northeast area scout and an NFC personnel director both said they had never heard of him".

Seriously???? No wonder TT drafts so much better than most of these teams.
