The kind of dysfunction we are seeing with other teams and not seeing in GB is half the reason why I'm still a big believer in Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy (the other half is the constant winning). The most dysfunctional this team has been under TT/MM was when they had to replace the existing HOF franchise QB with another HOF franchise QB...as big a media circus as that was, that's a pretty tolerable issue compared to a child abuse or spousal abuse issue with a franchise  player.

Zimmer just wants to prove he's the "new sheriff" in town, and he has bigger cajones than Peterson/his agent. Zimmer hasn't learned to keep his comments to himself. I'm sure stuff like this is said in every NFL office, but not beyond those four walls. Thank goodness for TT and MM who prefer to keep stuff in-house than play chicken in the media.

vikings are stoooopid and they will most certainly screw the poooch on this issue just like they've screwed the pooooch on every issue in their past.

What a bunch of maroons....

Well, Peterson always backs down when you push him, you know? Just ask his 4 year old son.

If he signs with Dallas I'm getting a #28 Cowboy's jersey with the words "ThanksRick", on the back.

The Vikings are making the 2015 postseason with/without Adrian Peterson. He, however, can elevate the team to unpredictable heights.

Who the F has perfect contract?  OWNS my rights. I bust ass, make them $, they pay me more. I leave, non-compete kicks in.

What makes the Vikings the consummate clown show is that all corners of that franchise and everything that touches the franchise knows deep down everything is going to **** at some point.

What hell it would be to call oneself a Viking fan.  When the Packers had their lean years, fans could still be proud of their history.  To be a Viking fan, one has to accept that they are and have always been losers.  And then when they have kids, they raise another generation of losers.  Is it all some form of penance they think will help them get into heaven?

I just got home from the mothership in WI and sat down to have that epic **** you get when you get back to your home throne.

Fired up the Star and Sickle to read what was news in the area while I was gone and saw that..... laughing my ass off as I unloaded and rushed here to make sure it was posted.

You can't make that **** up.  Glad you did a screenshot so deleted tweets won't go away Boris.

I kind of was wondering why people were calling in to the end of the local talk show just defending the guy.  Now I know.

"Is a contract 2 ways?"

Wow.

Just wow.

I wonder what it's like to live life like that...

Let the chaos begin!

idot.

I loved Paul Krause as a kid. I think he missed fewer than 5 games total in 16 years. Played a super clean game when safeties were allowed to get away with everything. He was so effing good.

Crazy fact. Krause holds the all time NFL INT lead with 81 picks just ahead of Emlen Tunnell with 79. Both went to Iowa.

Tunnell did return 4 of those picks for TDs. Krause only 3. Eat it Minny!!!!

It's soooooo much fun to watch Minny internally combust. Every time you think they've hit a new low, they pull a fast one and sink even further. Paul Allen is a shill for mediocrity. And my gosh, AP, if you're going to complain in writing at least do it with a modicum of correct English. OU and the Vikings should both be embarrassed.

I like Mike Zimmer also, I think he's a good coach. He's working for sh*tbag owners and a highly incompetent GM though and probably won't ever see real success because of it. I used to feel sorry for Peterson also because he's so insanely talented, but really
only got 1 real chance for glory and it was squandered...after seeing what kind of person he is I'm actually glad that he hasn't had more success. Now the only player I feel bad for is Calvin Johnson, but I'm afraid he's on the downward slope of his career. He probably could have been the best of all time, but never got a real chance because of the QB and lack of talent around him.

AP shows up in Minny. After his first pre-season carry he get's up, heads to the sideline and tells the Dr. he thinks he just suffered a concussion.

AP never get's over concussion like symptoms. Vikes try and suspend AP without pay but NFLPA won't allow it. Goodell is pissing down his leg that a team is trying to force a player that feels he's concussed to play because they don't think he is.

Yep, that's my 1b scenario for the 2015 Vikings right after another 3-13.

Peter the King of Rong has the vikes at number 6 in his offseason Power Rankings

Its absolutely perfect how the offseason hype-machine is pimping those purples

And if any of your small-brained friends buys into the hype, send 'em this link

vikes were 0-4 vs top 10 teams and 0-7 vs top 16 in 2014

vikings suck, but they sure know how to woo their fanbase over the summer

He ranks the Vikes there IF 3 fairly monumental things go their way? It's tough enough to overcome one deficiency, but 3? Most of what he wrote in that ranking does not even qualify for Silly-Season talk, it's just plain idiotic.

They need Peterson to do more than show up.

Even if Bridgewater matures, and I don't agree with continue to mature part, he has little to throw to.

Lots to prove from the OL

The middle of the DEF has a ways to go just to get where GB was when they were trotting out McMillian.

But hey, it could happen.
