Adrian was asked if he thought he'd maybe played his last game as a Viking.

โ€œThe reality, and just to be straightforward with you โ€ฆ I knew I really wasnโ€™t going anywhere,โ€ Peterson said. โ€œI am the type of person that likes to look at things from different views, so I put myself in the Vikings situationโ€”the owners, the head coach. Weโ€™re not gonna let you go. I revert back to the Percy Harvin situation. Me, if I was the owner of the Vikings, thereโ€™s no way I would have let him go. But unfortunately for us, he ended up leavingโ€”but thatโ€™s the way I would have looked at it"

Holy ****ing **** is that awesome.

"We're not going to let you go".....?!?!?!

So, in Adrian's mind, he thinks that when Rick, Zimmer, and Wilf looked at the team in the off season they had already decided there was no possible way they would allow Adrian go anywhere else.

And then Adrian follows up his belief that Rick, and Zimmer, and Wilf have such a complete lack of confidence in a team without Adrian that Adrian feels compelled to dust off Percy as an example of how Rick and Wilf done ****ed up once already.

Good lord this quote is about as good as it gets.

Peter King is starting his training camp reports with Minny. I read his stuff to keep up on what is going on throughout the league but, good heavens, as he gets older he's becoming more and more nauseating to read. He latches on to favorite souls (I mean sources) and then just ****-gobbles to no end. Witness his latest suckitude.

Gut feeling about this team as I left town. Iโ€™m drinking the Kool-Aid. I think if Bridgewater continues his natural progressionโ€”he was the leagueโ€™s second-highest-rated quarterback over the last five weeks of the 2014 seasonโ€”and offensive coordinator Norv Turner continues to school him in the fine art of not turning it over, this team will be a serious threat the Packer division supremacy.

The Chip Kelly slurp-fest will be epic.

Couldn't agree more. He's become a cross between a league shill and a knob-gobbler

I used to look forward to his work, now its barfola. No worries, he'll whip those purpler losers into a frenzy, but we all know how it ends.

You people are a little slow on the Teddy uptake.

Teddy set 91 Viking records as a rook last year!!!

New: Most pass completions by rookie vs. Miami: 19 Teddy Bridgewater, 12/21/2014

Old: Never Happened

New: Most pass completions by rookie vs. N.Y. Jets: 19 Teddy Bridgewater, 12/7/2014

Old: Never Happened

New: Most passing yards by rookie vs. Buffalo: 157 Teddy Bridgewater, 10/19/2014

Old: Never Happened

New: Highest passing completion percentage by rookie vs. Buffalo: 57.7 Teddy Bridgewater, 10/19/2014

Old: Never Happened

Viking articles are the best.

Stitch a few of those "records" together for a real laugh:

New: Most passing attempts by rookie vs. Green Bay: 37 Teddy Bridgewater, 11/23/2014

Old: 32 Christian Ponder, 11/14/2011

New: Most pass completions by rookie vs. Green Bay: 21 Teddy Bridgewater, 11/23/2014

Old: 13 Christian Ponder, 11/14/2011

New: Highest QB rating by rookie vs. Green Bay: 79.8 Teddy Bridgewater, 11/23/2014

Old: 52.3 Christian Ponder, 11/14/2011

Fantastic!  Superbowl bound for sure!

Bridgewater to me looked like an improvement over what the Vikes had in the past since 2010, but that isn't saying much.   There's a number of really impressive things about Bridgewater, but one thing that wasn't impressive was his downfield accuracy.  I mean, I couldn't believe how off he was on some of those throws against the Pack.

Bridgewater looked like a good game manager type QB, but for the Vikings to be truly challenging the Pack, he'd need to vastly improve those downfield throws.

I actually could see the Vikings being a pretty good team, but they're not in the Pack's class.

3rd season, still doesn't get it?  good luck with that.

โ€œCordarrelle is on a good track right now, OK? Now, can he sustain? Can he continue to sustain what heโ€™s doing? Because like today, I thought he had a good day,โ€ Zimmer said, via USA Today. โ€œIn OTAs, I thought he improved. Heโ€™ll have really good days, and then heโ€™ll have some not-so-good days. Really, I think what he needs to do is just the consistency every single day and the consistency in studying, the consistency in getting extra help that he needs if he needs it, running the routes the same all the time and understanding that thereโ€™s a lot of great athletes that play professional sports, and thereโ€™s a lot of great athletes that donโ€™t make it in professional sports because they donโ€™t have the other intangibles. To me, the biggest thing with him is that: Does he want to be โ€˜Flashโ€™ or does he want to be a great receiver? Iโ€™m not trying to dog him or anything, but thatโ€™s really what it is.โ€

Teddy set another Viking record for wearing gloves for a camp pick before August 1 today. All that kid does is set records.

While we're here. A quick shout out to Eden Prairie dentist Walter Palmer who helped draw a beloved lifelong favorite lion out of a game preserve in Zimbabwe on July 1 and shred Cecil the Lion's organs to slaw with a bow and arrow and then pose for a trophie shot. Walter already had a license violation in 2008 for bring down a black bear in WI.

Walter shut his doors today as the stuffed lions piled up on his office doorstep.

Congrats Walter Palmer!!! You are the biggest dick in America tonight.

The Vikings Suck. And so does Minnesotta.

During a nighttime pursuit, the hunters tied a dead animal to their car to lure the lion out of a national park, said Johnny Rodrigues, chairman of the Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force. Palmer shot it with a bow and arrow, injuring the animal. The wounded lion was found 40 hours later and shot dead with a gun, Rodrigues said in the statement.

The lion was skinned and beheaded. The hunters tried to destroy the lionโ€™s collar, fitted with a tracking device, but failed, the statement said.

Yup, no reason for Palmer to think any of that was illegal.

My friend (a Viking fan) who I'm using as a reference for a new job, sends me this e-mail....with a "signature" pic at the end.

Of course you can use me as a reference.  The only thing I'm not comfortable with is your love of the Packers...

We will see how (New Company he is at) plays out.  It's all very new...

Good Luck!

Go Vikings,
