Our corporate media is completely controlled.

NPR is government sponsored.

Corporations are incredibly powerful and have been demonstrated to generally be sociopathic in character.

And we are a corporate oligarchy.  Hell, look at the revolving doors between government employment and Goldman-Sachs, Monsanto, etc.

But, by golly, THOSE FELLERS ARE FEEDING US THE TRUE POOP!!!

How many Brooklyn Bridge's have you believers in the MSM news bought?

Oh.  You had quotes around it the first time, I thought you were making fun of Katie Couric interviewing Sarah Palin.

Why don't you just PM me, Hank, if you're so concerned.  No worries....

Mostly, I just read the SD-UT (hard copy....I'm nostalgic )  The WSJ when I'm feeling it.... Then,  I try to read Time for the liberal slant of the news.  I will also read USA Today for a LOC viewpoint when I'm out and about, too.  I do try to read/see/hear (or is it "here" JJSD) both sides of the issues.

I used to read Newsweek, but its liberal slant got to be so ridiculous that no one was reading/buying it anymore so it went out of business.  Years ago before I realized the liberal media bias, I used to read US N&WR but I think that went under after no one was reading it anymore, either.

BTW...I do read Playboy for the articles only.

p.s.  The Hitler-orator comment was made for the purpose of realizing how inane the entire situation has become.  Of course he could give impassioned speeches...everyone knows that...but what was the purpose of those speeches...to rile up the masses against a group of people.   It's no  different than saying Al Sharpton and the other race-baiters give great speeches.   It doesn't promote a civilized society.

Your turn now Hanky Panky!

Claiming FOX is fair and balanced is just as ludicrous as claiming MSNBC is unbiased.  The difference is that the majority of liberals I talk to realize this while consuming it.  They understand that it's entertainment more than news.  On the other hand, the Conservatives I interact with, like San Diego, actually believe FOX doesn't have an agenda.

The brain washing job is impressive.

I have nothing against Republicans and even side with them on several issues.  My liberal friends don't call me a domestic terrorist when I support the 2nd amendment but my conservative friends call me a communist when I suggest trickle down econ isn't working as intended.

That trickle down Econ is working just the way it was intended

Yeah, why go the source source that's consistently found most accurate and least beholden to corporate sponsors when you can get your info from idiot shoutovers?

You do realize that when you type up your responses and hit submit reply, which I'm certain takes a considerable amount of effort, that everyone can see it right?  I love all the backsplainin'.
