McFadden is a talented athlete who was hot/cold in Oakland, hot behind that line in Dallas, and has been constantly injured. If you get him on the cheap for low money then he's probably a fine complement to a starter, but he's not the answer to our RB issue. He's a guy that teams have constantly looked for upgrades over.

2017 draft is just loaded with RBs. Might be 8 taken the first two rounds. While we're here. I'd give up a testicle for OJ Howard. TE from Alabama. 6'6" 250 that runs a 4.5 40. Knows how to block. Entire package.

I hope Jared Cook is back within the next couple of weeks and the Packers can give him a true 8-10 week audition. If he is anything like he showed in Training Camp, and McCarthy decides to, you know, USE the TE position perhaps GB has that position locked up at least for a couple of years.

Otherwise, GB is going to have to face reality that in 2017:

1.) They may need a new number 1 CB if Shields retires or GB cuts him based on health.

2.) They may need a new number 1 WR if Jordy can't return to form. So far, he looks like he's lost a step and I am really hoping he's just adjusting to trusting his knee again.

3.) They will almost certainly be replacing Lacy, even if they get him on the cheap, I can't see TT trusting he'll keep his weight down. He's already rumored to be back to 255-265 meaning he's gained back 30 pounds since June.

4.) If Cook isn't the answer, then GB will once again need a new TE.

Ted has gone heavy defense in his last, what, 3 drafts? Time to restock the cupboard on offense.

I read on the internet somewhere that Lacy has gained all the weight back that he lost. If it is on the internet, it must be true.

The Packers need an Ahman Green type running back, someone that can pound but also break the big one. No one respects their running game. They have the receivers but It doesn't seem they are all well suited for adjusting their routes based on the defense. Just get back to basics like the 2nd half against the Bears. Throw it quick and make plays. No more bombs away plays.

Lacy has played / started 51 games for GB. He has carried the ball 20 or more times 15 times in those games. Only 29%. GB is 12-2-1 in those games.  He's had 25 or more carries in four games in his career in GB. Four!!!!! Four!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GB is 3-0-1 in those games (Tolzien tie against Minny)

**** you and your management of RBs Mike McCarthy. Let RBs run!!!! **** you and your commitment to run the ball Mike. RTFB!
