Bevell gets a bad rap for that, Seattle was something like 1 for 4 running the ball in that situation during the season, and NE was in their goalline defense which would have left one defender unblocked on a run. Chances are that Lynch would have gone no where on a run. However a roll out pass / run option with Wilson seemed more logical.
