A guy I keep coming back to is Cobb. What is his role? What is his value?

Well, he's not a #1, okay. But I think something we've kind of lost over the past 25 years is WR perspective, mainly due to QBs and stats.

Favre was a killer with Sharp, then Brooks, then Freeman, then Walker, Driver, whomever. Often there was a second guy with good stats and a lot of spread out stats.

Rodgers comes in, and there's Jennings and Jordy. Cobb has a great year with 14-ish TDs and everybody's on the Cobb bandwagon.

30 TD passes a year is good year, and Favre and Rodgers were around or beat that mark pretty consistently. And hey, one guy getting 10+ TDs is awesome for our fantasy teams! But then math hits.

30-ish TDs and one guy catches a third of them. One other, semi-random guy has a good year, for whatever reason. That's around 2/3 of the TD passes going to two guys. Just how many are there left for the rest?

Rodgers threw 40 TDS last year, which is amazing. Jordy being Jordy pulled in 14 of them. DaVante, after struggling mightily in 2015, had his breakout with 12.

If Cobb pulled in every, single other TD pass Rodgers threw, he could only equal Jordy. That's not realistic for him to be close.
