I actually think getting Clark extended sooner rather than later might be necessary. Maybe not this offseason but I think for sure next year since you don't want him to hit free agency in his prime at 24-25 years old.

He won't get away one way or the other. He's a franchise tag guy if it comes down to it but get it done later in the 2019 season. Short of an injury his price will only continue to climb through 2020.
