Good for those guys getting more money to help them into retirement. Let someone else give them the extra money and then sign them back in 2-3 years so they can officially retire as Packers.
Cobb will go to Dallas and have 1-2 games where this board will be on fire because he goes for something like 6 catches, 110 yards, and 2 TDs. He'll be in the concussion protocol for 1-2 games, have other injuries that will cost him 1-2 games, and played banged up for the rest. He'll end up with something like 50 catches for 600 yards and 5 TDs.
CM3 will make a few plays and probably put up stats like he did this year. He'll sit out 3-4 games with a hamstring problem but he's a valuable guy for them in a playoff game.
These guys are both fine in their new settings if they are they to provide depth and not be counted on to be key guys for 16 games. If they came back to Green Bay, they'd probably be slotted as starters and they are not that level of player any more.
