Al on Driving

(3/08/2013 04:06:00 PM) - Al

I just saw a prospect was charged with DUI after being clocked at 111 mph.

I was on the interstate last night from 4:45-5:45 and, while I'm the first to admit I drive like an old man (speed limit 65, cruise control set at 62) because I'm married and cheap (and get 35 mph in my car with a blue book value of $146) and am not in a hurry to get home (the Rambling son proudly says he likes being home alone, while the Rambling dog didn't wake up until I'd been home half an hour, got up, stretched, checked his food bowl, took a drink out of the toilet, and went back to sleep).

That said, I would guess no fewer than a dozen cars passed me going 85 or higher. Do all these people have Swedish models awaiting them at home?

Drives like an old man.
Cheap.
Car worth $146
Hates his family so much that he has no desire to get home quickly.
Son hates him.
Dog that drinks out of toilet.
Angry about people driving faster than him.

No wonder this guy has so many looking to him as life coach.
