They’ve been so good for the entire season that it’s a huge story when they lose a game like this. Up to now, they haven’t had a problem refocusing and moving forward and hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come. They are still in control of securing the 1 seed but it’s more important to have good momentum come playoff time.
More surprising to me is Philly and Boston haven’t exactly taken a step forward given all the talent and expectations they’ve faced this year. Personally, I hope like heck that they end up as the 4/5 matchup because that ensures one of them will not advance to round 2. I’m actually more concerned about Philly and Boston than Toronto or Indiana because if they flip the switch they both have more than enough talent to make it to the conference finals.
