Middleton with the dagger 3.
This is the quietest 15 game win streak in NBA history.
I'm guessing the NBA really wants Giannis out of Milwaukee.
I swear to Christ if Giannis leaves in summer of 2020 the NBA can go fuck themselves.
I am never watching an NBA game again if that happens.
There are 30 games left until the All-Star break. The Bucks could go 29-1 but if they lost to either the Lakers, Sixers, or Celtics (or god forbid go 28-2 and lose to two of them), there'd be 5 articles in the national media about how the Bucks won't be able to compete for a title once they get into the playoffs and Giannis is probably leaving. I don't think they are going to approach that (and we shouldn't expect it), but I think something like 22-8 is realistic before the break. That would put them at 43-11.
The risk is that the NBA can push things in certain directions if they want. All it takes is a couple of borderline charge calls on Giannis in a playoff series. There is also the risk of some guy going "Fred Van Vliet 14-17 from 3 over 3 games" on you and losing a series that way. It can happen to the best teams.
This whole narrative that it's got to be a title for Giannis or he leaves is just stupid, and you've never heard it from Giannis.
