I watched most of the first half and their defense was outstanding.
I didn’t care for some of the fouls they got called for but they were aggressive and challenged shots and forced a lot of turnovers.
From top to bottom I think the Clippers are the best team in the league. They really do not have any weaknesses. They can score, defend, go big or small, and they have a very good bench and good coach.
I don’t understand why they’ve struggled on the road but come playoff time that’s not a team I would want to face or try to beat 4 out of 7. They are the one team that matches up very well with Milwaukee and I think the Bucks know this so they wanted to send a message.
I’m glad Milwaukee got them early in the season because I think it will be the Clippers, not the Lakers, that will be the team to beat.
The other thing that’s encouraging is teams are now starting to honor Giannis and his outside shooting. It’s the next step in his progression. If he can be a threat with the jumper it’s game over for opponents.
