Reply to "Shaw sent back down, Hiura called up!"

Jeffress had been pretty solid lately until yesterday, but honestly they gave it away.

Just seems to be the theme with this years team.  They play well enough but come up short or can’t make the key play or get the key stop.  The 7th inning was the perfect example.  They take the lead but San Diego got it right back.  Machado reaches on a fluke play (someone should have gotten him out) then a walk then the 3 run bomb.  You have to execute and giving the other team extra opportunities will usually come back to haunt you.

Top of the 9th wasn’t much better.  Down 1 run Yelich reaches 2nd with one out and Braun walks but they can’t cash it in.  Just a lot of missed chances in this one.

I would think at some point they will have to decide what to do with 1B along with Travis Shaw.  Hiura will be back just a matter of how soon?  They could also use another proven arm in the bullpen preferably a lefty that doesn’t throw 75MPH junk like Claudio.
