Reply to "It's Raiders Week"

I know there was mixed opinions on the board about Bob McGinn, but his articles from other teams' scouts on ranking our players were always good.

Here was his grading scheme, which is a good one to use to think about personnel. He also used + and - within the category to give some additional range.

BLUE: Pro Bowl player.

RED: Above-average starter with a chance to be exceptional.

PURPLE: Starter you can win with.

GREEN: Lower-tier starter, or a backup with a chance to improve.

YELLOW: Below-average backup; needs to be replaced.

WHITE: Incomplete; insufficient information to grade.

BROWN: Reject.

In terms of our WRs, I think Adams is a Blue -. MVS is a Purple. Lazard is a Green. Kumerow is a Green -. Shepard is a Yellow.

TEs - Graham at this stage is a Purple -, but is being paid like a red or blue.

The blues on the entire team right now are Rodgers, Bakhtiari, and Adams. I think Scott is a probably a blue as well.

The team is a lot better this year because there are a lot more red type players. Alexander, Savage, Z. Smith, P. Smith, K. Clark, Jenkins, a healthy Bulaga, and maybe Amos.
