Let me put it this way. On a bell curve, we have DA and MVS on the "good" side of the curve. Like all normal distributions though, half of the NFL wide receivers fall on the other side of the curve. That is where WWJ, GMo, Lazard and Sheppard lie. If I were to rank them from closest to the the mean to farthest, I'd go *Lazard, GMo, WWJ............Sheppard. I might be falling for the immediacy bias with Lazard.
Now, every team has WR who are below average. I'd prefer that be our #4 & 5 receiver, but understand for a lot of team, #3 is also a pretty average guy. No hate on GMo or WWJ, they are just easily replaceable cogs.
*In the case that I am wrong, I anticipate and accept the goofy ass pistol ungluing.
