I expect the Saints to run the ball much more than the 19 times they did against LV, especially if Thomas is out. Not only because they saw that their pass O isn't no where near as effective without him but because they will see what happened to the Lions when they got too pass happy vs us.
Put Jaier on an Island against Sanders and bring those S's up to focus on stopping the rush should be the plan. Given that Angry Bald Man typically wants to focus on pass d first, I doubt that they do this. The results are methodical time consuming drives that keep the ball away from us.
On the other side of the ball, they only thing that concerns me is this will be our right side of the lines first test against legitimate pass rushers. Jordan and Davenport are legit. I think MLF will account for this and use scheme to slow them down and / or use their rush against them with screens and misdirection.
