It’s simple math really

If taking and making 3 point shots were so easy everyone would do it. The Bucks are allowing the most makes about 14 per game- but they are middle of the road at 36% allowed. Teams take 39 long range shots per game against the Bucks. You know what other teams allow the most 3pt attempts? Toronto, Miami, and the Clippers.

A 2 point shot in the paint or layup is converted at a much higher percentage and no team is better than Milwaukee at defending the hoop or contesting short range shots. As a team they are only allowing about 38PPG in the paint which is an incredible statistic.

Its a big reason teams bomb away v Milwaukee. It’s tough to score and navigate the interior against the Bucks.
